Chapter 38

(Sonic's pov)

I opened my eyes to see a dark, small space.I started breathing heavily and pushed on the ceiling. Luckily, I was in a garbage bin, and when I looked at my gloves and shoes after jumping out, I saw that my gloves were more gear like and had drips of ink.

"Sonic?"Someone familiar said as they hopped out of the garbage bin.I looked over to see a black and red hedgehog with a small frowned on his face.

"Shadow!"I said and ran over to hug him.He pushed me off and walked down the alleyway."We lost them Sonicare said roughly, and I sighed.

"We have to get Nine to get us out of here,"I said and looked around.It looked a lot like New yoke in my opinion.But then again, it looked more ink-filled.

We saw a few weird ink-generated robots and people with brown and yellow armor on.Some spotted us, and we had to bolt it.

When we got to a safer Alleyway, we planned on how we were gonna get Boris and Mugman away from Nine.

Well, Shadow planned, and I stretched.

"Do you have to do that right now?"He asked as he wrote on the walls with ink.I shrugged and continued to stretch my legs.

I looked around the area and saw a shadow of two figures running on the rooftops by us.Me and Shadow looked at them and ran up the walls of the building running after them.

We finally trapped them at the edge of the buildings, and Shadow grabbed a flashlight that was conveniently close by and flashed it at them.

I couldn't believe my eyes.Right in front of us was...
