chapter 23

(Nine's pov)

We had gotten back to the room the gang was at to find Only Cuphead,Mugman,and Jack B there.

"Where is everyone else?"Boris asked Cuphead.Cuphead shrugged and went back to reading a book that was in his hands."Went to find supplies and wanted us to stay here for you guys."Mugman said blankly as he petted Jack B.

Boris nodded and walked over to a bench and grabbed his notebook out of his pocket.He then looked at Cuphead and began to draw him.'I wonder how realistic it'll look,'I thought to myself.I went to sit by him and put Prince by my feet.

"Oh,hey Nine,"Boris said, looking at me.I smiled slightly and looked at his notebook at what he was drawing.It was Cuphead's head and torso so far and he was working on the arms hair and face.

"You're really good,"I said, looking at Boris.Boris smiled and looked at the pup at my feet."Aww,so - -adorable!"Boris exclaimed.I chuckled and picked Prince up and put him on my lap.Boris petted his head, and Prince licked his arm.Boris smiled, and his tail wagged slightly.

"Hey Boris!Can you play a song?"Mugman asked,looking up from Jack B.Jack B and Cuphead both looked up, and Cuphead nodded quickly with a smile on his face.

Boris nodded and moved his guitar to face his front.He sat up straight and cleared his throat.

"Any suggestions?"Boris asked, and Mugman shrugged."Play all star!"Cuphead shouted with a big smile on his face.Boris nodded, and I sat and looked at him.

'I already know his singing voice is hot. I just want to kiss him til I-Why the hell am I thinking this shit?!?!'I thought to myself.I Watched as he strummed the first note of the song and then the magic happened.

Like I said.He has the voice of an angel.We all clapped, and Prince and Jack B howled."Nice dog.Who's is it?"Cuphead asked Boris, pointed to me, and chuckled."I thought you'd be more of a cat person."Mugman said.I rolled my eyes.

~Time skip~

The gang got back, and we all talked.I talked with Mugman,Bonnie,Foxy, and Boris, and everybody else talked to whoever.This place is really great.And people care about me here.Maybe this is better than the grim could ever be.But if I confessed to Boris I could ruin our friendship and would have to go to the grim Because of embarrassment.Thats why I'll keep it a secret for now.

Boris and I soon ended up talking about our inventions, and he was really impressed by what I had made.He's amazing,kind,and gentle,He's also a great listener who else would be perfect for me?

We all went to bed after a while, and I just listened to Boris' snores til I fell asleep.
