Raven

"You're kidding, right?" Garfield Logan AKA Beast Boy asks.

"No, Garfield," Bruce Wayne AKA Batman tells him. Huh. I heard stories about it, but I didn't think Hogwarts was real.

"Oh, this will be the most exciting," Koriand'r (Kori/Starfire) says happily. I roll my eyes. Of course she thinks so.

"Raven, your awfully quiet," Richard Grayson (Dick is a nickname, Robin is his superhero name) murmurs.

"I'm always quiet."

"You're the magic expert here. What do you think?" Dick asks.

"I think we're going one way or the other so what's the point in arguing?" I say.

"You could always back out," Batman reminds us. Can we though?

"Rae's got a point. If this kid's life is in danger, we have to save him," Gar agrees. I blink. I don't think he's done that in a while.

"Did you just...agree with Raven, BB?" Victor Stone AKA Cyborg asks, probably wondering if he's in a dream. Nightmare, more like.

"Did I? Aw, man. It means I owe Roy twenty bucks," he groans.

"Did you seriously take bets on when you would agree with me?" I ask, confused.

"Well, he, I mean, I said-" he sputters then groans. "Sorry."

"I live with a bunch of idiots," I mutter. Superman clears his throat, bring our attention back onto the quest.

"Now that that's settled, the mission. It'll be all year long, but don't worry about the city. We have people who'll temporary take your place protecting it," Superman AKA Clark Kent AKA Kal-El assures us. He's much to...positive.

"Okay, but why isn't Zatanna the one going? She's the real magician," Dick says.

"Because, Dick, she's busy," Batman tells him. Dick scowls at his father. Well, adoptive father.

"I'm in! I can't wait for a wand!" Victor yells.

"Yes. Wands. For magic. Okay, Dumbledore- the headmaster- will explain everything to you. You'll be staying with the Weasley's until school starts. They'll take you to get all your stuff. Mrs. and Mr. Weasley know why you're there, along with Dumbledore, but that's it. No phones or any other electronics," Batman says. Dick raises his hand.

"Yes, Dick?" Batman sighs.

"Do my tools count?" Dick asks.

"The weapons are fine, but they're to be locked up until needed," Batman orders. Dick nods.

"Alright, dismissed. You'll be receiving a study guide of a sorts soon. You're leaving next week," Batman says. I open a portal and the others walk through first.

"Rachel," Superman, or Clark, as he said to call him, stops me when I'm about to go through the portal. I turn around.

"Yes?" I ask.

"Be prepared for anything. Some spells won't effect you like they will the others, and that will draw unwanted attention," he warns. I nod in thanks.

"Bye," I tell him. We had a mission together a while back. Just the two of us. He seemed to think of me as like a little sister, or niece. Or daughter, I guess. That's how he explained it. I step through the portal. Well, I guess I should go study.

Beast Boy

Raven is too calm. I mean, Rae's always calm, but we just got told we're going to a school for wizards and witches and she just rolled her eyes.

"Only pack necessities. Beast Boy, I'm looking at you. No games," Dick says. What? No games? For a whole year? Oh, come on!

"What about me? I'm half robot. You think I won't stand out?" Victor asks.

"I'm sure Zatanna will have a spell that could make you look human," Dick assures us.

Rae's hood is up like normally, not showing us her face, which is a huge disappointment to me. I rather like her face. I guess I'll have to take up annoying her as a replacement for video games. This might actually be fun.
