Raven

The magic used was called apparating, I believe. I really don't like it. It makes me nauseous. I hope I don't throw up for the second time today. Or was it last night? We appear in a house- a kitchen- with a huge table and lots of chairs. Garfield stumbles and knocks over a chair. A woman with red hair comes rushing in, wand out.

"I'm sorry. The teacher must've overshot," I say. The woman eyes us all up and down then her eyes widen in recognition.

"You're the exchange students," she states. Dick nods. She smiles brightly. It's a little off putting. "Sorry about that, dears, it's just, things today. You know how it is."

"Yeah," Dick mutters. We know better than most.

"Come on, I'll introduce you to everyone," the woman says. I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is Mrs. Weasley.

"Excuse me, pretty lady? I do not mean to interrupt, but could you tell me your name please?" Kori asks.

"Oh! I don't suppose I did ever introduce myself. I'm Mrs. Weasley. You can call me Molly, if you would prefer," the woman says. So I'm right. Not to my surprise.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Molly. I am Kori. That's Dick and Victor, and Garfield. The one with the hood on is Rachel," Kori tells her.

"The pleasure is all mine." She stops walking in the living room, where a group of people are. I'm sensing a lot of emotions in this room.

"Everybody, these are the exchange students. Dick, Kori, Victor, Garfield, and Rachel. Kids, these are my kids, Ginny, Ron, George and Fred. There are more around, but I'll find them later. This is Hermione Granger," Molly introduces. They all nod as their names are said. The adults are watching us carefully. One's a werewolf. One is missing an eye. He kinda reminds me of Rose.

"And this is Lupin, Tonks, Sirius, and Moody," Molly finishes.

"His name is Moody?" Garfield asks, snorting.

"You have a problem with my name, Garfield?" Moody snaps. I hold in laughter. Gar stands straighter.

"No, sir," he says.

"They smell weird," Lupin notes. The werewolf. Gar sniffs and his nose scrunches up.

"You're one to talk. You smell like wet dog," he mutters. I stomp on his foot.

"Ow! Rae, what was that for?" he asks.

"How did you smell me?" Lupin demands.

"Harmless prank. He kept burning food claiming he couldn't smell it burning so it wasn't burning so Dick uh, cursed him with a nose like a bloodhound so he would be able to smell his stinky vegan foods burning. Temporarily, of course. I'm sure the spell will wear off soon," I growl. BB flushes.

"Yep. I can practically feel it slipping away," Gar says.

"Are you two dating?" Ginny asks.

"What?" Did I hear her right? Gar laughs.

"She wishes," he says. I roll my eyes.

"Yeah, right," I mutter.

"Oh, geez, not this again," Victor groans.

"Garfield! Rachel! Focus," Dick snaps.

"Uh, yes sir," Gar stutters. I snort. "Be quiet, Rae. You're going to get us in trouble!"

"That's rich, coming from you," I say.

"What's that supposed to mean?" he asks. Suddenly, we're both smacked on the back of our heads by Dick.

"Both of you be quiet," Dick hisses. We both nod.

"I bet they'll be engaged by the time they're of age," one of the twins murmurs to the other.

"I bet they still won't have found your body by then," I say.

"Rae! Did you not just hear Dick? I thought you kept your emotions in check," Gar hisses. That's when I realize. It's not my emotions making me angry like this. It's everyone else's. I need to meditate.

"Sorry, Dick. Won't happen again." Because I'll keep my mouth shut. I was trained by the monks of Azarath to control my emotions. How stupid am I to be controlled by other people's?

"They're American exchange students. They're coming to Hogwarts this year," Molly says.

"Why? After everything that's happening right now, why would they go to the most problematic place?" Ginny asks.

"Don't worry. We can protect ourselves," Gar says, putting his arm around my shoulders. I roll my eyes.

"You've got to go!" a different man yells from the doorway.

"What? Forgive me, I do not understand," Kori says.

"Not you, dear," Molly tells us. "The adults."

"We're adults," Fred and George say in synch.

"Only legally. Now the people over the age of twenty must be going," Molly orders. They all get up and walk out the door, saying they'll be back in a few minutes.

"Kids, why don't you get to know each other? They're in Gryffindor, just like you," Molly tells them.

"Gryffindor?" Gar whispers in question to me.

"One of the four houses," I say quietly. His eyebrows furrow in question.

"Houses?"

"Teams you live with," I clarify. He nods. Kori and Dick sit on the floor next to Ginny and Hermione. Victor sits on the couch, but I continue standing. And so does Gar.

"Excuse me, Mrs. Weasley? Where's the bathroom?" I ask, suddenly feeling sick.

"It's right down the hall, dear," Molly says. I shrug off Gar's arm and walk until I turn the corner then I sprint towards the bathroom. I shut the door quickly and leap for the toilet just in time.

Beast boy

I hear something coming from the bathroom. Is Rae...throwing up? I run down the hall, and bang on the door.

"Rae. It's me. Open the door. Are you sick?" I ask through the door.

"Go away, Gar," she groans. I reach into my pocket and pull out a hairpin. (Kori asked me to hold them the last time I wore these clothes and just never took them back.) I pick the lock easily and open the door. She's leaning against the wall eyes closed.

"Rae..." I whisper.

"Get out," she says quietly. Instead of listening I sit next to her.

"What's wrong, Rae rae?" I ask her. I've never seen her like this. Is she sick?

"None of your business."

"Yes, it is. What's wrong?" I demand.

"Gar...not now. I don't feel like it."

"Well I do. I am sick of this shit! You don't tell us anything! Are you sick or is it something different?" I practically yell. She closes her eyes.

"Close the door at least," she whispers.
