Raven

I can sense Harry's mistrust towards me. Can't blame him. I felt his pain when he looked at me. He thinks I'm evil. I'll just have to convince him I'm not. Somehow.

"Rachel, are you going to eat?" Molly asks, interrupting my thoughts.

"No, thank you. I'm not hungry," I say. Gar looks at me solemnly. I glare back. Don't blow it.

"You okay?" Dick asks.

"Fine. I'm going to go lay down for a bit." He nods.

"I'll show you where you and the other girls will be staying, Rachel," Molly says. I nod gratefully. She leads me to a room with a bed and three makeshift beds.

"Sorry we don't have more beds. There are a lot of people here," Molly tells me.

"It's fine. I like sleeping on the floor sometimes, actually, thank you for showing me," I add. Because sometimes, the bed is just too comfortable for you.

Three hours later, I'm meditating over one of the makeshift beds, the one closest to the door, when I hear someone coming. Garfield. I've spent enough time listening to them stomp across the tower that I recognize the sounds of his footsteps. He opens the door and peeks his head in.

"Hey, Rae," he says quietly.

"Can I help you, Garfield?" I ask.

"I...I brought you some food," he tells me.

"I'm not hungry."

"But you need to eat. Rae, not eating isn't good for your body."

"I'll just throw it up later, so what's the point of eating it?"

"Because if you don't it'll just get worse," he tells me. I roll my eyes.

"If I eat, will you leave me alone?" I ask.

"Sure."

Beast boy

"Why didn't Rachel come  and hang out with us?" Ron asks.

"Rachel doesn't really like people," Dick says.

"Why not?"

"Her dad's a piece of shit," I reply. Dick glares.

"Gar."

"What? It's true!"

"Doesn't mean you should tell everyone!"

"What do you mean, her dad's a piece of-uh-poo?" Ron asks. I roll my eyes.

"Nothing, Ron. She wouldn't like me telling you."

"Why not?"

"She's very private," Dick interrupts.

"By that he means she'd kick our ass if we told you."

"She sounds scary," Ron says.

"She is. But she won't hurt anyone," Dick tells him.

"Unless they really deserve it," I add.

"Which they won't," Dick growls. I roll my eyes.

"You really don't have to worry about her, Ron. She won't hurt you," I assure him.

Harry

That girl-Rachel. She has to be a death eater. Dark magic practically rolls off her. I'm telling Hermione this before she goes up to her room, with the death eater in it!

"Harry, I really don't think she's evil," Hermione says.

"My scar hurts when I look at her!"

"Are you sure you're not imagining it, Harry?"

"Yes!" I cry. Hermione sighs.

"I don't know what you want me to do!"

"Try to find evidence of it that we can show to Dumbledoor!" I tell her.

"Fine. I'll do what I can."

Hermione

Rachel comes out of the room the next morning looking tired. She was tossing and turning all night. She only just got to sleep when she jumped awake for some reason. I don't know why Harry thinks she's evil. She looks more...hurt. Closed off, sure. But evil? No. Besides, she wouldn't be friends with Kori if she was evil.

"Rae, have you eaten?" Garfield asks.

"Not hungry. I'll eat later," she adds when she sees his look. He rolls his eyes. Harry enters the kitchen and I stand up.

"How bad is it?" I demand.

"Well, I'm not expelled. Yet," he mutters quietly.

"Good for you, bro," Garfield says.

"'Bro'?" Harry repeats. Garfield's eyes widen.

"Sorry. American thing."

"You're so dumb," Rachel mutters. Garfield glares.

"Rude."

"Oh, piss off."

"Now, she sounds British," Fred says, putting his arm over her shoulders. Or tries to, anyway. She ducks, and his arm just goes right over her.

"Don't touch me," she hisses. Okay, maybe a little touchy, but not evil.

"Kids, today we have to get our stuff. We'll be going to Diagon Alley in about an hour. Get ready. Rachel, dear, are you going to eat?" Mrs. Weasley asks Rachel.

"Not right now, Mrs. Weasley. Thank you, though," she adds. See. Manners . I've never seen an evil person with manners.
