I shut the door. She breathes in and out.

"You have to promise not to tell anyone," she murmurs.

"I can't if it means you're just going to get hurt," I admit.

"Fine. But just...not yet. I can't deal with all the questions and concerns," she says. I nod in agreement.

"You know I have my eyes closed. I can't see whatever you're doing," she tells me. I chuckle softly.

"I understand. I won't tell them yet unless it's really really bad," I promise.

"Thank you," she whispers.

"That's what friends are for," I reply. She nods.

"Do you know when I defeated my father?" she asks me.

"Yeah." That was one heck of a sight.

"It's been happening since then," she admits.

"That was months ago!"

"I talked to Zatanna about it. She said that when I did that, I unlocked something...new. She gave me a spell that was supposed to help. It didn't. Everytime I eat, I throw up. I can just be meditating and I'll need to throw up. My whole body hurts. I can't sleep, I can barely focus. My powers... what happened in there, it was because I was angry. But it wasn't me who was angry. My mood hasn't been affected by others in years. It means I'm slipping," she admits quickly, like she's afraid she's going to back out. I blink.

"Have you tried the doctor?" I ask. She opens her eyes to glare.

"No, I've just been throwing up and didn't bother going to the doctor once," she deadpans. I wince.

"Sorry. But why are you hiding it? We could try to help."

"No, you can't. I would just get pity. I hate pity," she mutters.

"I think you should tell them."

"No. Not yet. Maybe in a few weeks."

"You might not make it that long," I say.

"I'll be damned if I let this be the end of me. I've lived through way too much to be killed by my own traitorous body," she tells me.

"Really?" Is she for real?

"What?"

"Calling your body traitorous isn't going to do anything."

"Speak for yourself. I don't see your body making you wish you were dead," she says. Oh, Rae. I wish I could fix this for you.

A few minutes later, we exit the bathroom when we hear yelling. Dick stops us just before we enter the room. Kori, Dick, and Victor are all standing on the edge of the hallway, watching a kid with a lightning bolt scar on his forehead yell.

"How long have you been standing here," I ask Dick quietly. He smirks.

"Long enough. You'd think he'd notice, given how often people try to kill him," he says. Raven rolls her eyes.

"Remember that time I stood in your doorway for thirty minutes and you didn't notice?" she asks.

"Well, you're different."

"How?"

"You can not move for hours and can practically become invisible," Dick tells her. She shrugs.

"You're not wrong."

"I'm never wrong."

"You've been wrong like eight times in the last three days."

"Well you've been wrong like three times in the last..."

"Decade?" she offers. Dick scowls.

"No. Like three times in the last year," Dick corrects.

"You need to check your math, Richard."

"Wait. Who are they?" the kid, Harry, I presume, asks, motioning towards us.

"Harry, dear, these are American exchange students," Molly says.

"What?"

"You must be Harry. I'm Dick," Dick tells him.

"You...you call yourself Dick?" Harry asks. I laugh.

"Short for Richard."

"Then why not call yourself Rich?"

"Yeah, Dick. Why not call yourself Rich?" I tease. He glares.

"At least I'm not named after a moody cat that hates mondays."

"Enough. Both of you. You're giving me a headache," Raven snaps. I shut up, not wanting to cause her more pain.

"Harry, I am Kori Anders," Kori says.

"Victor."

"I'm Garfield, but everyone calls me Gar," I tell him.

"Rachel," Raven says. Weird thing is that Rachel isn't actually her name. Raven's actually her name, but Rachel is her human alias. Harry narrows his eyes on Rae.

"Do you use dark magic?" Harry asks.

"No. Do you?" Raven retorts.

"What? No!" Harry says.

"Then why would I?"

"Nothing. Just checking," Harry mutters quickly. Why did he lie? He had a reason for asking. Because he didn't ask any of us. Only Raven.
