"Michikatsu hey!" you yell running up to him in your favorite kimono. He looked over at you and smiled.

"Hello Y/n, how are you?" he asked once you reached him. You straightened out your outfit before smiling up at him.

"I'm doing great how are you and Yoriichi?" you asked. His hand on his sword's tsuka¹, tightened.

"I'm fine and Yoriichi.. Is also good" you nodded. Your eyes flashed with remembrance and you quickly brought out your basket.

"I forgot but I have this bread for you and Yoriichi" you hand him the basket and he sighs. You look up at him in confusion.

"I remember when you just got me stuff like bread and flowers. Then I mentioned my brother and it seems like you ask about him all the time now" he crosses his arm and shakes his head with another sigh.

You stared with dotted eyes. "Isn't that simple decency? I wouldn't want him to be left out". You crossed your hands over your front, tilting your head.

"Well yes... but, I would prefer if you just got me stuff from now on, ok?" he asked putting his hands on your shoulders looking into your eyes. You nodded and he smiled.

"Y/n! Brother!" Yoriichi happily walked over with a small smile. Michikatsu groaned as you energetically waved at Yoriichi.

"Hi Yoriichi! How are you?" you asked when he made it over. He gave you a hug then rested his arm on your shoulder.

"I'm great how are you?" you smiled with a small blush adorning your features. Michikatsu flinched when he saw your blush. He quickly looked at his brother who was smiling lovingly down at you.

His grip tightened as he had to physically stop him from lunching his brother in front of you.

"I'm great! I just gave Michikatsu some bread for the both of you. Hey! We should all hand out, maybe even go into town to eat something together" you questioned looking between the 2 brothers.

Yoriichi nodded. You looked at Michikatsu, he was looking away.

"Michikatsu?" you put your hand on his arm. He flinched, swiveling his head to look at you.

"Yes that would be fun" he nodded. You happily smiled.

"Great! Then how about we hang out tomorrow, I don't have anything planned. You guys?" you asked now with your hand behind your back.

Yoriichi and Michikatsu thought before they both nodded in sync. "Great! Then we meet at 6 tomorrow night" you said your goodbyes when they nodded.

They watched you leave with loving stares. Your body was out of frame as Michikatsu glared at his brother.

"What?" Yoriichi innocently asked.

"You know what!", Michikatsu angrily answered, "I love Y/n and you're taking her away from me!".

Yoriichi's eyes slanted in annoyance. "I'm not "taking her away", ok, I'm just being friends with her".

Michikatsu glared at his brother, huffing as he walked away. Yoriichi shook his head and walked in a different way.

Ok listen i will be making a part 2 but I wanted to give you guys a story because I love you all so much! Also school started and I've already thought about how life works in mysterious ways.
