The Buggy/Alvida One Piece ship is inspired by the canon fact that the minor villains Buggy the Clown and Lady Alvida formed an alliance back in the East Blue saga. Each of them suffered a humiliating defeat at Luffy's rubbery hands, so they teamed up to take him down at Loguetown. Bonus art in the One Piece manga showed how the two of them teamed up.There's practically no chance of this wacky One Piece ship becoming canon, but it's still fun to think about, and it makes fans wonder if antagonists like them deserve another chance at happiness. This ship is little more than a lovelty, but it could make for good fan art or fanfiction one-shots.
