Hiyori at an early age ran into some courtesans who took her to Kyoshiro, he welcomed her very willingly and revealed that he was actually Denjiro, while the girl told him that she had separated from Kawamatsu, who had treated her to safety. Denjiro told her not to reveal anything about his identity and what he learned and to protect her he told her to be called with an undercover name "Komurasaki". He later made her the most famous oiran in the country of Wa. He has great respect for her and has closely followed her new business as the shogun's courtesan "Komurasaki". He showed incredible caution when he advised Hiyori to live under a false name to protect herself from Orochi and Kaido's pirate. She is also the only one aware of Denjiro's secret identity. Much later, Denjiro convinced some criminals to entrust Hiyori with all their money to be able to redeem it from Orochi, but then he handed it over to Denjiro to distribute to the poor, sending these men to ruin. After Orochi fell in love with Komurasaki, Denjiro came up with the idea of separating her from Orochi and told her to bring fake blood so he could devise her death. Indeed, while all present mock Orochi in silence as he fears Kozuki Toki's prophecy, Toko does not hold back and bursts into laughter. The shogun therefore gets furious and prepares to stab her, but Komurasaki slaps him and refuses to apologize by asserting her samurai ancestry. Denjiro does not hesitate to execute Komurasaki after she slaps Shogun Orochi in the face, even though he actually allows her to survive Orochi's fury by making her pass for dead, and consequently she manages to save herself thanks to him.
