She then told them that she wanted to join the crew, which was eventually accepted by Luffy because he said that she didn't do anything wrong. Although most of the Straw Hats had accepted her as a crewmate, it was Zoro who remained wary of Robin due to her being a former enemy as well as being the vice president of Baroque Works. She used various tricks to gain the trust of her crewmates, she never tried to trick Zoro into accepting her — she just gave him a smile.Cricket had told the Straw Hat Pirates to look for the South Bird in the woods in Chapter 230. The South Bird will be the one guiding them to where the knock-up stream was located, making the Straw Hats split into groups. Robin and Zoro were paired up as a team during the hunt for the South bird. But as they hunt for the South Bird, Robin tells Zoro to stop killing the bugs that got in their way. But Zoro dismissed what she said. He even said it was the bugs' fault for getting in his way. Zoro also added that he was still wary of her and she was still hiding her true intentions.
