Y/n's POV:

Ever since I became friends with the Big Three I got much closer to them. Mirio and Nejire help me and Tamaki socialise with other people since we are more of introverts.

Talking to people and making new friends was never easy for me. Somehow my friends made me open up more to them. I don't remember how we really met, it just happened one day and I never left their side.

Same with Tamaki. Making small talks is like the worst thing that could happen to him. He doesn't really enjoy being with people, but he is a different person when he's just with us.

And that made me fall for him. He understands me and I understand him. We'd rather enjoy being in a quiet and peaceful place than go somewhere with lots of people. That's why we often go to a library or stay at someone's dorm. We mostly sit in a comfortable silence minding our own buisnesses.

2nd POV:

"Sooo... Do you like him?" Nejire asks, trying to get some information out of you. She said it's a "girls' night". She told Mirio to do the same with Tamaki thinking you wouldn't figure it out.

"What?.. No.." You said with a quiet voice and a hint of blush on your cheeks.

"Don't lie! I see the way you're looking at him during class!" It's true, sometimes you catch yourself staring at him, not paying attention to the teacher.

"I don't." You try to deny everything but you know damn well you fell for him.

"Yeah sure, watch out 'cause I'll believe you." She chuckles and you smile. A few moments of silence pass.

"You need to stop being so akward around him." She says shaking her head.

"He's akward too, and you don't say anything."

"Mirio does. I told him to talk to Tama-" She quickly covers her mouth with her hand and you look at her slightly confused. "Sorry! Pretend you didn't hear anything!"

"Talk to Tamaki? About what?" You asked her and she laughed nervously.

"Nothing! About totally nothing! Anyways, I really have to go now I think someone's calling me." She then quickly walked away and you were left alone in the park.

Nejire made you feel safe but now that you're all by yourself you start noticing how many people are there. Your social anxiety makes itself known by forcing you to notice every single glance that was given to you. You rushed to your house avoiding any contact with anyone.

You arrived at the earlier said place and looked around. You were standing in the middle of an empty field full of beautiful flowers growing in between the grass strands. You put your blanket down and sat there for a minute. You were expecting everyone else to come in just a second since you were right on time but nobody was there.

You texted them asking if they're coming but neither Mirio nor Nejire anweared. You got a text from Tamaki saying "I'll be there soon." and you caught yourself smiling at your phone.

You heard footsteps in the grass after a while and looked to where they were coming from. You saw your shy friend walking towards you with a nervous smile on his face, which you returned.

"Hi... Do you know why... Mirio and Nejire aren't coming?" He asked while sitting down next to you.

"No.. They didn't reply. Well I guess it's just the two of us." You said while admiring the nature around you. You then laid back and looked at the clouds.

"Look! That one looks like a hat!" You pointed at one excitedly. You felt comfortable, like you could be yourself for once. Tamaki looked up too.

"It does." You could hear his smile through the words but you didn't turn your eyes away from the clouds.

"That one.. looks like a butterfly." You were slightly surprised at him actually enjoing the cloudgazing too. You thought he was that type of person to rather go home and do nothing.

Seconds turn to minues, minutes turn to hours and time flew by so fast you didn't notice it was getting dark. You were both enjoing the time together and were laughing like never. It wasn't that crazy since you still were a little shy but it was more than ever. Today wasn't as akward as you thought it'll be.

"It's getting late now, we should go." You said and sighed at the thought of that day ending.

"Before we go... C-could I ask you something?" He didn't stutter all day and now it came back. Something was going on.

"Go ahead."

"If I told y-you... I.. liked you..." He was blushing so hard you could see it even if it was dark. "What would you say?"

You were shocked at the question. You'd never expect for him to actually like you since you both didn't talk much.

"I would... Say I liked you back..." You looked away trying to hide you blushing. His eyes lit up.

"R-really?" He asked not believing his ears.

"Yes." You smiled at him. He, surprisingly, smiled back at you. It wasn't that common for him to give someone a genuine smile.

"Then, would you... Like to be my... Partner?" He said after taking a deep breath.

"Of coulse I would." You replied and went in for a hug. The warmth and scent of his body was giving you the coziest most comfortable feeling.

And that's how two most socially akward and introverted people fell in love and got together. The saying "opposites attract" isn't always accurate.
