"Yo, I heard that they killed someone when they were a kid."

"No way!"

"Yeah, they're saying it was an accident, but there's no way I'm believing that!"

"They gon' be a villain for sure!"

"Shut up! What if they hear you!?"

"SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!" You think to yourself while walking up the stairs. "It wasn't my fault!"

"Guys we have a killer in school! Better hide or they will kill you too!" The voices of your old classmates don't leave you alone.

Ever since the incident you've been bullied and even after graduating you've been recieving dirty looks. While walking to the building you've overheard some conversations.

"Aren't they the ones with that teleportation quirk? Poor soul, they could've used it to do some good, yet they decided to waste their potential." Your eyes start watering.

"It was an accident... I was a kid... I didn't know..." Even after years people still talk about you behind your back. Your "friends" keep reminding you of the murder everyday.

You arrive at the rooftop. You look up to the sky to see the stars one more time.

"I wish I didn't have to leave today." You say to yourself with shaky voice. You walk up to the edge and take your shoes off. You jump over the fence and land on the very verge of the rooftop. You look down.

"Any last words Y/n?" You ask yourself. You think for a moment as tears don't stop falling down off your face. You turn around now facing the railing as the wind blows your hair to the side.

"I'm sorry mom..."

Hawks' POV:

Today I was flying around, looking for a nice place to watch the stars from. It was a pretty nice day, until it wasn't. I noticed a person standing on top of a roof, behind the railings. They were crying. As soon as they started leaning back I flied as fast as I could to catch them in time.

Y/n's POV:

"I'm sorry mom..."

You lean back. As soon as your feet got off the roof you started regretting your decision. But it's too late already.

Or is it?

Suddenly you stop. You feel a pair of hands holding you tight. You couldn't see the person because of how blurry your vision was from crying.

You feel your body being put on a bench, and someone wiping away your tears with their thumb.

"T- Thank you..." You blurt out as you try to calm your breathing.

"No need to thank me. It's my duty to save lives. Now please try to calm down. Beathe in... And breathe out." You take a deep breath as he said.

"There's no need to panic. You're safe now." He gives you a bright smile, and you return it. Only your mother could make you smile like this, so it's new for you.

A few moments pass as you start to calm down more.

"Do you want me to walk you home? It's pretty late and I don't think it's safe for you to go alone." He asks.

"If you have time, then yes, please." You reply. He somehow made you feel safe. He didn't give off that 'creepy guy' vibe.

"Alrighty then." You both stand up and start walking towards your house.
