Kalli's POV

"I...I don't know what to think..." He murmured. "All this time when you came back you didn't tell me you were my mother?! You let Stoick banish me!"

"Dad calm down..." I put a hand on his shoulder.

"You're still banished." Stoick said angrily. "You can show the girl around then you must leave."

I clenched my fists and felt my eyes raging with red fire, "I have a name! I'm your granddaughter!" My wings stretched out ready to defend myself.

"Come on Kalli. Let me show you something cool." My dad said.

"I'm sorry..." His mother said as we walked towards the forest.

"Where are we going?" I asked jumping over a fallen tree. "Whoa."

We came to a downward slope that looked like it was made there.

"I can't believe it's still here." My father said walking down the slope. "After all these years."

"You know this place?" I looked down the slope in bewilderment.

We kept walking until we reached the edge of a cove and we both jumped down into it.

"That slope was where Toothless landed after I shot him down. This is where I became best friends with him. This is where I changed." My dad said.

"Wow...." I whispered.

"Come on let's go home." My dad said. "I want to say goodbye."

We walked back to the village to be met a crowd of villagers.

"Dad what's happening?" I asked grabbing his hand.

"Shhh it's okay. They must've heard I came back. Someone must've told them about you." He explained.

I gasped. So many people. I held my head high and let my wings drape behind me.

I felt someone reach out and touch my right wing.

I shuddered stepping closer to my dad as we pushed our way through.

More people began touching my wings feeling the dark Night Fury scales.

I stretched out my wings and hit people with them.

"LEAVE! ME! ALONE!" I yelled.

People gasped and stumbled backwards. Dad grabbed shoulders and steered me towards the cliffs. I hugged my arms and kept walking letting the tears escape.

As we walked the dragons bowed to us. Toothless mostly. And me. I nodded to the them.

"Why are they bowing?" I asked.

"Toothless is still their alpha. And...they sense you...a hybrid...they respect us greatly..." My dad explained.

"What's the big deal? They've seen you before and Mom." I wondered talking about the villagers.

"They thought we were the only ones. They weren't expecting it, especially for me to be back." My dad replied.

We took off into the sunset sky soon landing in front of our tree house. Mom was waiting outside.

I ran forward and hugged her sobbing into her shoulder, "It was horrible! I can't believe they treated Dad like that!"

"Shh shh shh it's okay. We're far away from them. It'll be okay." She said gently.

I pulled away and wiped my tears. Dad was nervously fiddling with his wing.

"Dad it's fine really. I'm glad you showed me." I said.

Aviana punched him in the shoulder, "Never go back there! They're monsters even though they have dragons!"

Berk terrified me. They honestly terrified me. I'm never going back.
