An Odd Couple

Chapter 1

As I sit here watching the night sky,I think of all the beautiful times we had together- the first time we met,became friends,fell in love, our fights and then back to track after some hours.....

Well,sharing 6 years of your life with someone so special is an achievement I think,and then falling for him was the best feeling ever- like rain in desert,extraordinary.....

I look at my watch - its 9 now, I am cold sitting here... But I like being here outside, just me and my thoughts, it's peaceful here.

I get up to go inside the hospital. Towards his room.... He looks so angelic sleeping there, I could stare at him forever....

And then I realize the reason he is there is because of me,and darkness surrounds my thoughts,and all I can seem to do is cry....

"He'll be alright- don't worry about it"- said Sandy my best friend.

" I hope so" I reply meekly.

" Oh c'mon Crystal,what's wrong with you? Don't let this take you down,you know it's not your fault, now put up a smile and be yourself- BTW he was right- you are a mess while crying "- Sandy said with a wink!

"Ah,whatever.." I made a face...."I love you Matt,seeya!"- I say it to him in hope that he is listening.
