An Odd Couple

Chapter:09

I'd barely slept all night. Scenes from the evening kept popping into my head and I kept going back to that time.
It was 6 in the morning and I gave up. I woke up,tied my hair into a messy bun and walked towards my bathroom.
Today was a study day,which means no classes will be taken, so we are allowed to stay inside the school and prepare for the exams that start tomorrow. I would normally skip this, but principal had given a strict warning about those who tried to stay back for no proper reason.
So I got ready and got to school on time.
The hallways were full of bored kids,bugged by this stupid rule,heading towards their respective classes.
I walked up to my class and saw Kelly with Brian.
Ugh!!!
"Can I talk to you for a while?"- I asked completely ignoring her boyfriend.
" Later?"- she asked me.
"No,now please!"- I said but he interrupted me
" The lady don't wanna leave this handsome guy ,don't you see" and Kelly giggled on that.
Handsome? Like seriously?
If he were to participate in animal fashion show,the organisers would not let him, they'll be like- "sorry,no professionals"!!!
I didn't realize I was laughing on my own joke that too not spoken out.
Both of them looked at me quizzically and probably thought Iam mad.
" Okay okay handsome man,send her"- I addressed him for the first time.
The Bell rang and everyone scurried off to their benches. A bored looking middle aged woman came and sat inside.
Me and Kelly were sitting alongside and were trying to whisper but she gave us a glare

"You two there, have you prepared?"- she questioned us.
" Kinda"- Kelly said.
"Is that even a word?"- she asked.
" Yeah,kinda"- and that sent the class into a fit of laughter, people started clapping.
The woman clearly embarrassed muttered something under her breath and warned us.
I focused my attention on the book lying on front of me when suddenly a note came to me

K: Hi! Lets talk this way.
So I took a pencil and scribbled my answer right away!
C: yeah!!!!! :)
K:so what's with Matt and you these days? Have you been kissing or something? ;)
C: seriously dude? He is JUST a friend.
PS I don't know how to kiss!!!
K: want me to give a tutorial? ;)
C: Actually, "kinda"!
K: what do you want to know?
C: what about start from the beginning?
K:okay but ask something first!
C: OK,what's a bad kisser,and can anyone tell if you are one? Also,what do you actually do in kissing??
K: Okay!!!!!!
First a bad kisser: one who has pricky lips! Or bad breath :/
And I don't really know how to explain what to do I mean it's all " in the moment" thing!
C: pricky lips like Brian? Lol!
K:shut up!!!
C: that's all?
K: pretty much,lesson 1 done! ;)
C: I would like to study now! So excuse me!!
