An Odd Couple

Chapter 7

It struck 5 on the watch and my phone rang
 Incoming call: Matt
"Hello?"
"Hey Crystal, be ready,I'll pick you up in 5,and don't think too much,it's a surprise" and he ended the call
I wondered what's up,but then he drove us to a place I've never seen before. It's existence was new to me.
It's a beautiful place. A meadow- towards my right there is a waterfall so grand and the water seems to be coming with great force. Its all foamy and milky. There is sunlight- Amber colored and the leaves have turned into the same colour making it a very serene and beautiful sight.

He takes my hand and before I could react goes on his right knee
"Crystal, I've always loved you and all I want is you in my life" he said kissing my hand.

Iam shocked, I don't know what to say.
"Say something, my love" he urges me to say.
"I don't know" I manage to mumble.
" Well in that case"-he says taking out a knife-" you can die!!!" - and before I could say something, he stabbed me.
Blood poured out of my body and Iam loosing sense of balance.
"Die!! Die!!!!" And he stabs me multiple times.
"What have I -I d-d-done?" I ask meekly.
"Oh,you wanna ask that now?"-and he stabs me again. I fell down on the ground and the grass turned crimson with my blood,Iam breathless.
" Bye" he walks away throwing the knife into the waterfall,and Iam lying there,helpless. Iam about to die when I hear a familiar voice-
"Partying on Saturday is fine but atleast get up now"
