My name is Emma Coltan. I'm sixteen and just moved to the south side of Chicago.
I have blond hair that goes halfway down my back, blue grey eyes, and freckles underneath them.
I used to live on the east side of Cleveland so not much of a change in the neighborhood.
I live with my low life mother who would rather buy crack than food for her only children.
My dad walked out before I could meet him. He was ( I'm assuming ) just as much as a low life as my mother.
I have a older brother. His name is Ethan. He's 17 and I'm pretty sure he's secretly gay. He's never had a girlfriend and talks about hot guy celebrities with me.
I haven't walked the neighborhood yet, and I'm not scared like other girls would be.
I'm not your average teenage girl, I don't fangirl over boy bands or paint my walls pink.
When you live your whole life in poverty it makes you hard.
Most of the upper class families would assume I get bad grades. Get arrested 24/7 and vandalize shit but most of that isn't true.
I've smoked weed and still do but who doesn't? I drink beer but that's not a big deal. I'm smart, I get straight A's. I'm going into 10th grade.
I've been to juvie for three months because I ran away from my foster home at the time. When they found me I had some drugs on me that I was selling to get food.
Juvie was bad. It was full of teenage criminals who ate any fresh meat they saw.
Since I didn't dime on who I got the drugs from, I got some respect there.
I made it out with a couple scars and black eyes but who cares. Now I know I can win any fight i want to.
I've never vandalized anything and I have manners when needed. Although if some adult is a dick to me I'm gonna be a dick back.
That's pretty much it.
