Emma's point of View
On instinct I put my hands up not wanting to get shot.
The police barged in and handcuffs were put on my wrists behind my back.
"I didn't do anything?? Can someone please tell me what I did?!" I shouted confused and scared.
I wanted Carl to be with me.
The gun shot. Who was shot?? Was it Ethan! Or was it Ian or Carl??
My heart was beating so quickly it felt as if it would burst out of my chest at any moment.
"Emma You are under arrest for the murder of Michelle Morgans. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law"
Michelle. Chelle.
Chelle is dead??
What the fuck is going on.
Behind my eyes started to hurt like someone was trying to rip them from my head.
The brought me outside and there were three police cars.
There was a body on the street covered in a white sheet.
What if it was Carl???
I needed to know. I couldn't go without knowing if someone I loved was dead.
I quickly broke free of the police officers hands and started running towards the body.
They knew I wasn't trying to run but they chased me anyway.
I kicked the sheet over to reveal the pale lifeless face on the pavement.
I dropped to my knees.
It wasn't Carl.
It was Ethan.
Ethan my innocent perfect older brother.
Tears flooded my eyes and my head dropped to his chest.
It no longer moved lightly up and down and I couldn't hear his heartbeat.
"NOOO ETHAN" I screamed until my lungs burned with the hot air that surrounded me.
The police left me there for a moment.
Carl came out of the house.
He didn't run towards me or even look me in the eye.
He saw Ethan's body, turned around, and went back into his house.
He didn't.
No.
He didn't just walk away.
No he did.
He's always been this way and I knew it.
I shouldn't have gotten involved with him ever.
At that point. I broke.
No more emotions. No more caring for anyone but myself. Anger filled me and my body became warm.
My hands clenched into fists and my jaw shut tight.
I shut my eyes and wiped away the tears.
The police shot my brother for no reason. I was getting revenge on every police officer there.
You don't fuck with my brother.
They pulled me off my lifeless brother and roughly pushed me into the back of the police car.
I'd be put in juvy till my trial. No sure what will happen because I didn't do anything.
But they just fucking wait till I do.
