Me and Peggy are at Steve's check up.
"Think you got enough?" Steve asked the nurse.
"Any hope of reproducing the program is locked in your genetic code." I told Steve.
"But without Dr Erskine it will take years." Peggy finished for me.
"He deserved more than this." Steve sadly said.
"If it could work only once, he'd be proud it was you." Peggy reassured him.
I smiled I could definitely see a romance sparking between these two and I love him and am so happy.
Steve looked out the window as I talked to the nurse doing Steve's checkup. We then made our way down the the main floor. Where colonel and this guy where talking about hydra.

"Hydra is the Nazi deep-science division. It's led by Johann Schmidt. But he has much bigger ambitions." I said confidently. Peggy looked at me confused probably by me knowing this information and my sudden burst of confidence. I'm rather shy.
"Hydras practically a cult. They worship Schmidt. They think he's invincible." The colonel said.
"So what you gonna do about it?" The guy beside colonel asked.
"I spoke to the president today. As of today, the SSR is being re tasked." The colonel told him.
"Colonel?" Peggy asked confused. We both stare at him dumbfounded.
"We are taking the fight to Hydra. Pack your bags Agent Carter. You, too, Stark. Agent Labrown you will be keeping base here. We're flying to London tonight." The colonel finished. I was shocked. I can't let them go. I know hydra better then anyone else. They will die. I need to go.

"Colonel, please just a minute of your time." I asked chasing him.
"What is Labrown?"
"I need to go on this mission. It is a suicide mission, you need all the help you can get." I tried persuading.
"Labrown, we have all the help we need some here to that's where you come in you'll still be helping just not with us."
"I'm sorry sir but know one knows hydra better than myself. You will need me there on this misson."
"What? How do you know the most about hydra here?" He asked. I stumbled over my words and realised what I had said.
"Oh um I studied them for ages whilst I was in college." The lie fell straight of my tongue.
"Very well then. Pack your bags as well, Agent Labrown." I was so relieved. I looked at Peggy, she was smiling, I could tell she was happy I was coming. Steve also wanted to come. I didn't know if he was ready but I know he can do it. Though the colonel didn't let him. I was furious.

"With all due respect to the colonel, I think he may be missing the point. I've seen you in action Steve. More importantly, the country's seen it." It was colonels friend
"Paper." He asked. This guy handed him it.
"The enlistment lines have been around the block since your picture hit the news stands. You don't take a soldier, a symbol like that, and hide him in a lab." I took the paper as he handed back to the guy. I couldn't believe it. This is Steve's dream to be an hero. I was so proud of him.

This isn't the type of hero Steve wanted to be. I was shocked when he told me what he was doing but I guess it's a step closer for him.

I needed Peggy. Colonel just told me the worst news ever. James is gone. He's gone. Dead. I need Steve. I know he's here.
I ran back into the tent and saw Peggy and Steve taking to colonel.
"Steve! Steve, he's gone. He's gone." I sobbed. Steve looked shocked and hurt. Peggy took me into her arms as I cried. Then that horrible, horrible feeling came over me again. My ears are ringing. My eyes are hurting. I've got a minute to get out of here before I explode. I heard voices but they where muffled. I pushed Peggy away and ran. I felt the rain soak me. I felt my eyes change and a tightness in my head, hands and chest. I ran until I found a field far from base. Then I exploded. All my emotions from the past came out in a ear breaking scream. It hurt so much my eyes felt like they where on fire. My hands felt they had been sliced. My chest felt like it had the heaviest brick on it.

I don't know how long I've been sitting here. I'm drained. It's dark now.
"Polly! Polly! Where are you!" I heard a voice and I knew it was Peggy.
"Polly! How far could she have gone?" I heard a different voice, a man but not Steve. Stark.
"There! Look there! She's there!"
"Polly! I've been looking everywhere for you are you alright?" Peggy asked me as crouched down to my seating position. I just stared at her emotionlessly. She sighed.
"Come on poll I've got something to tell you."

She pulled me up and took me to our bunker.
"Steve, he's gone on a mission to hydra. He's going to save the prisoners. He's hoping Bucky will be there. To save him." I was lost for words. Anger flooded my veins.
"Are you kidding me?! You let him go to HYDRA by himself! Are you out of your mind?!" I snapped.
"Polly, please calm down." Stark butted in. I stood up and started pacing.
"What if Bucky isn't there? Huh? This is so dangerous none of you understand. Hydra are so powerful. I think Steve is made for the wat but not this war. Especially by himself. Omg, by himself. Why would let him?" I rambled on. They say there and let me.
"If my James isn't there and Steve is killed. I'm gonna have no one. No one." Here come the tears.
"Polly, that's not true you know it isn't. You'll have me." Peggy tried comforting me.
"What about your parents?" Stark asked. That just made me more angry.
"That's personal business. God, I can't believe you just asked that!" I exclaimed. Im exhausted. My head felt so light.
"I think I'm gonna go to sleep." I said making my way to my bed.
"Polly, are you okay?" That's the last thing I heard before everything went black.

I can't wait till I don't have to write about the olden times and we can get a little more into the future lol
