Eren chuckled. They heard a scream. "That was Bruno, you uncouth bastard!" Hange yelled.
"We still have Sven and Clyde. Look out for Munchkin." The man insisted.
"Moblit, I love you!" Hange squealed as they went back to their monitors.
"They are insane." Levi shook his head.
"No injuries." He insisted as he eyed Eren.
"Other than a sore spot on my chest where some runt hit me, I'm fine." Eren smirked as he rubbed the spot where Levi's shoulder knocked the wind out of him.
"Fucking brat!" Levi growled.
"Well, this little brat just upended our peaceful lives." The purr of the woman's voice drew Eren's head upward.
Levi's mother squatted down beside him. She placed one perfectly manicured claw under his chin. Lifting his face up, she twisted it so the light reflected off of his eyes. She turned his head the other way, watching as the bright jewel like orbs dimmed before picking up another light source.
"Just why is it, that dear old Dr. Yeager wants you back so badly?" she purred out.
"D, doctor?" Eren stammered.
Kuchel Ackerman laughed. "You don't even know what it means to be a Yeager?" she demanded.
"I was seven when I ran away from home." Eren pointed out as he watched the woman stand up.
"Seven?" she arched an eyebrow.
"Damn that's ballsy! Most seven year olds won't even cross the street!" the delight was evident in the weird twinkling eyes that now gleamed at Eren.
He fell backward away from them, scrambling on his hands like some weird Crab.
"H, Hange!" He cried. Levi snickered.
"I told you, bat shit insane!" He kicked the figure, knocking it back toward the shadows.
"But they have a point." Kuchel muttered.
"Do a complete work up on his blood. Check DNA, bone marrow..." She paused.
"I have a hunch." She muttered walking out.
"What about a brain scan? MRI?" Hange called after the woman.
"Anything to find out what his father truly did to him." Kuchel demanded.
"You're not touching his brain!" Levi was suddenly between Eren and Hange.
As the two argued, Armin came over. He looked down at Eren still on the floor. He held out a hand. Eren took it as he pushed himself up from the ground. It was sticky. He tried to brush off whatever was on his hand. All it did was smear a dark streak across his palm.
"Sinks over there." Erwin pointed.
Eren nodded to him as Armin walked over with him. "You plan on telling them?" he hissed.
Eren shrugged as he scrubbed the harsh soup into his hands. It had been years. He was sure it wasn't true. If it was, why hadn't they done something before now? Eren glanced behind him.
Levi was pulling Hange's ponytail while Hange was kicking at him. Erwin came to break them up. Eren smirked at the group. They were like true siblings. The only memories he had of his own brother were... disturbing.
"What can I tell them? My father like to try things?" Eren hissed.
He had shut the water off. Reaching out for some paper towels he saw on the side of the sink, but another hand whisked them away. Eren blinked as Levi ripped some off to hold out for him. Their eyes met.
