Chapter 23:- Becoming Stronger

2 days later....

Izzy's P.O.V

I've been able to eat a lot more food lately. I still use the feeding tube at night time but I at least eat 1 meal a day. I've been off school for the past 2 days. I'm having today off and then going back after the weekend.

I've not seen Leah or Jake since Esme said they had been to see Jade 2 days ago. I rang Leah yesterday but she didn't reply. I don't know what's going on. I hope everything is ok.

I'm downstairs with the family, Carlisle has got the day off work so we are having a family day. We are thinking about going for a run or going for a swim at the lake that's near here.

I hear somebody's phone ring and Carlisle answers it.

"Hello, this is Dr Cullen." Carlisle says.

"Carlisle, its Sue. I need help. Leah has just came home. I though she was at yours and has been for the last 2 days. She's brought Jacob here and he's worse off. I can't leave the house to due Charlie. I've asked Seth to bring them to you so you can look after them if that's ok." Sue says.

"How bad are they?" Carlisle asks.

"Leah's just black and blue I think. Jacob on the other hand has chunks missing." Sue says.

"Do you know how long they will be?" Carlisle asks.

"Any minute now." Sue says.

I hear a car pull up and I jump up and run to the door. "There her now Carlisle." I say. I walk out the door and help Seth get Jake into the house.

"Izzy?" Jacob asks.

"I'm here Jake. Your going to be ok." I say to him.

I help Jake to the sofa and sit him down. Leah sits down next to him.

"Who did this Leah?" I ask her.

"Sam and the pack." Leah replies.

"Why?" Rose asks.

"Because we stand against him." Jake says.

"He's taking this to far now. He needs taking down a peg or 2. This is my fault. I need to sort this. I know what I need to do now." I say running out the house. I phrase as I jump down the stairs and run to La Push. When I get to La Push, I walk to the pack meeting place and howl. I open my mind so I can talk to Sam, as I'm connected to Sam I'm connected to the other wolves.

"This has gone to far Sam. You don't deserve to be Alpha. You don't look after people like your meant to. Being Alpha to you is all about the power you hold. Somebody needs to take that off you and if Jacob wont take his rightful place I'll take it off you." I say in my mind so Sam can hear me.

"Is that right? How are you going to take it from me. Your a weak little wolf." Sam says.

"I'll fight you for it like natural wolves." I say.

"Let's get her." I hear Paul say.

"No! This is between me and Izzy. She's challenged me for Alpha position so it's juts me and her fighting." Sam says.

I hear a set of pounding feet an see Seth. "Izzy what are you doing?" Seth asks.

"I'm doing what I have to do. Go home Seth. Don't get involved." I say to him.

Just then the clearing becomes full. Sam stands in front of me. He's the biggest wolf. When your Alpha you become bigger hat he rest. All the other wolves are surrounding us.

"Kill her Sam." I hear Jared say.

"Izzy back down!" Sam says trying to use his Alpha tone.

I ignore him and jump at him. I snap at his neck and take a chunk out of him. He falls to he floor and I move and stand over him. I stand on his right back leg and hear it break. "Give up Sam. Let me be Alpha." I say to him.

"Never." Sam says, he jumps up and jumps on my back. I fall straight to the floor. He wraps his paws around my chest and my ribs crack. "Give in Izzy. Come back to the pack." Sam says.

"You'll have to kill me. I'm gonna fight until I become Alpha." I say.

Sam squeezes me around the chest hard and I phrase back into my human form due to the pain. Sam phrases with me and throws me onto the floor.

"Give up!" Sam says using his Alpha tone.

"Like I said you will have to kill me." I spit.

Sam sits on my chest and starts strangling me. I try to get him off but I cant. I'm struggling for air. He's going to kill me. My vision starts going blurry and I'm about to give up when he lets go.

"Seth take her back home. I'm not going to kill her. I need her." Sam says throwing me at Seth.

Seth lies down on his belly and I pull myself on his back by his fur. He starts running back to the Cullen's house. I hurt him more than he hurt me. Yes I've cracked my ribs but a chunk of his neck has gone.

When we get to the Cullen's house Seth walks up to the porch and somebody takes me off his back. I smell Jasper. He holds me close and takes me into the livingroom. He sits down and I feel somebody put a blanket on me.

"How's Leah and Jake." I ask.

"Leah is ok. Just bruised. She will heal tomorrow. Jacob has a few cracked ribs but he will be ok in a few days." Carlisle says.

"What was you thinking?" Rose asks.

"Taking over as Alpha. The only way Sam will stop is if he isn't Alpha anymore." I say.

"And look where its got you. Hurt again." Rose says.

"I've got a few cracked ribs. They will heal in no time. I actually hurt him." I say.

"What you mean?" Jasper ask.

"You should of seen her. She broke Sam's leg and she took a chunk out his neck. That's gonna take a few days to heal." Seth says.

"I have to become Alpha and I won't stop fighting him until I do." I say.

"You will do it when your strong enough." Jasper says.

"Where is Leah and Jake?" I ask.

"They are staying here, Jake is in the spear room and Leah is in Alice's old room." Rose says.

"I'm going to talk to Leah." I say. I get off Jasper's knee and wrap the blanket round me. I walk up the stairs and walk into Leah's room.

"Leah are you ok?" I ask her.

She's sat on he bed with her head in her hands. "Izzy what is this feeling?" Leah asks me.

"What feeling?" I ask her.

"I feel a pull. Its really strong and its pulling me upstairs. I've got a pain in my chest because I won't move." Leah says.

"Omg. Your feeling the imprint bond. You've imprinted on somebody. Who is it? Who's upstairs? It's Edward." I say.

"What do I do?" Leah asks.

"What do you mean?" I ask her.

"What do I do now? Do I tell him? Do I go up there and tell him he's my imprint? What do I do? what did you do?" Leah asks.

I walk to the door and shout for Jasper. He will know what to do. He can feel Edward's emotions. Jasper comes up the stairs and comes into the bedroom. "Leah doesn't know what to do she's found her imprint. She's imprinted on Edward and doesn't know what to do about it." I say.

"He's feeling the mate pull to her as well but he doesn't know what to do. Leah go and talk to him. Tell him and he may tell you." Jasper says.

Leah walks out the door and goes upstairs, I go into Jade's room and walk straight back out again when I see Seth in there. I go into my bedroom and Jasper follows. I see that I have a new bath.

Me and Jasper lay in bed together cuddling and fucking until I finally had enough and fell sleep.
