Chapter 15:- Healing

Jasper's P.O.V

Izzy is doing really well. She's been in a coma now for 7 days, her face is healing well. She's still got a swollen eye and her jaw is still broken, her eye socket is still bad. Her ribs haven't healed yet or her leg but her wrist is ok.
Carlisle says if she was to wake up today she wouldn't be able to get out of bed and she'd still need the feeding tube as she wouldn't be able to eat food yet. She won't be able to talk much either due to her jaw.

The baby is doing ok. He's getting a little stronger. His heart beat is still low but he's starting to breath on his own. He's got brown hair like Izzy's and he's got Izzy's skin tone. He looks nothing like Sam.

"How are they doing today?" Carlisle asks.

"Both doing good. Izzy's face is healing better. Her jaw and eye are still the same, and her ribs and leg but everything else is good. Her heart beat is getting better too. Baby is starting to breath on his own but his heart beat is still low." I say to him.

"I'm hoping Izzy wakes up soon. I the next few days. The longer she's in the coma the harder it will be to get her out." Carlisle says.

I've not moved from her side since the baby was born. Just then I see movement. Izzy's foot just moved.

"Carlisle I think she's waking. Her foot moved." I say.

Her heartbeat starts beating a little faster.
"Izzy can you hear me?" Carlisle asks her, walking over to the bed.
He checks her eyes.
"I think she maybe coming round. I'm gonna take the breathing tube out." Carlisle says.

Carlisle starts to slowly put the breathing tube out her mouth. When it's fully out Izzy isn't breathing but the she takes a deep breath.

She slowly opens her eyes, her right eye that's swollen doesn't open properly but the left eye is open.
"Izzy can you hear me?" Carlisle asks her.

"Yes.." Izzy says, struggling.

"Don't talk much. Your jaw is broken in 2 different places. Your right eye socket is broken. Your ribs are fractured and your leg is broken." Carlisle says to her.

"Whhaat iss thhhatt ssounddd?" Izzy asks.

"Your baby." Carlisle says.

"Baby?" Izzy asks.

"Yes. You was pregnant. I had to deliver the baby because he was taking all your food. I've had to put you on a feeding tube because your eating disorder has come back and baby was taking it all." Carlisle says.

"Feeding tube? Take it out! I'm not sick!" Izzy says starting to panic.

"Izzy you need it. As your jaw is broken you can't eat so you need it." Carlisle says.

Izzy starts shaking her head no. She starts to pull on the feeding tube. She starts pulling it out.

"Izzy please keep it in. You need it in while your jaw heals. You can't eat anything." I say to her.

"No it's to much. I'm getting fat. Please take it out. I'm to much. I'm fat. Your making me fat." Izzy says.

"Izzy your not fat. Your to thin. You need to put weight on." Carlisle says to her.

"No." Izzy says.

Izzy starts to pull the tube again. "Jasper, hold her hands down. I'll get the restrains." Carlisle says going to the cupboard.
