Coffee (Usnavi x reader)

Y/N POV:
I opened my eyes to start the day. I sat up and opened my curtains looking outside. Then I walked towards the bathroom and knocked on the door. "Vanessa please hurry up I have to get to work" I yelled in a tired voice. My roommate Vanessa opened the door. "Good timing I just finished" she smiled as she walked away. I walked inside and got ready for the day. Once I was ready me and Vanessa walked out of the apartment, then she got a call. As she was yelling at the guy on the other line I checked the time. "Vanessa we left earlier than usual I can actually come with you to get a coffee" I smiled, she nodded and continued to yell at the other line "right...lead the way" I grinned as she then proceeded to walk towards a bodega.

I opened the door and she was still yelling at Mr Johnson. I followed her through the shop. Suddenly from behind me I saw something drop. I turned around and saw a really cute guy! "Hey" he smiled awkwardly "hi" I smiled back. "Y/N, I see you've met Usnavi" Vanessa smiled at me. "So your Usnavi" I said to him. "The one and only" he grinned. I laughed slightly "by the way you owe me a bottle of cold champagne" Vanessa smiled at him, "are you moving?" He asked, "just a little credit check and I'm on that downtown train" she replied. "well your coffees are on the house" he smiled as he handed our coffees. "Okay" I said as he handed our Coffees. "I'll see you later" Vanessa smiled as she walked out. "Yeah I'd better get to work aswell" I smiled at him. "Wait what's your name?" He asked "Y/N
L/N, I'll see you soon" I said as I left.

Usnavi POV:
The door opened and I expected to see Vanessa but instead I saw a very pretty girl with (H/L) (H/C) hair, then Vanessa walked in. "Ask her out" Benny smirked at me while pointing at Vanessa. "who is that?" I asked him while pointing at the other girl. "I don't know her well but she works at the kindergarten down the street" he said to me. "Right" I replied as we walked over. Then I accidentally knocked something off the shelf causing her to turn around! She looked at me and all That came out was "hey" she smiled and said "hi" then we noticed Vanessa came off the call and walked next to us. "Y/N I see you've met Usnavi" she smiled, "so your Usnavi" she grinned, I don't know why but part of me wanted to act cool around her so I said "the one and only" I immediately hated myself for saying that. But she laughed so that's good, then Vanessa shifted the topic towards the Champaign. After we finished I gave the two coffees, "your coffees on the house" I smiled, "okay" Y/N smiled. "Ask Vanessa out" Benny whispered from behind "I'll see you later" Vanessa smiled as she walked away and out the door. Y/N turned to me and said "yeah I'd better get to work aswell" she smiled, 'her smile is so beautiful' I thought. "Wait what's your name?" I asked. I knew it was Y/N but I just wanted to make sure" "Y/N L/N, I'll see you soon" she smiled as she left. "Y/N" I mumbled. "You got a new crush already?" Benny teased. "Man shut up" I said as I pushed his face away.
