Coffee (Usnavi x reader)

Y/N POV:
"Shitshitshitshitshitshitshitshit!" I hated blackouts! I hated not knowing what was going on and blackouts are exactly that! I searched my pockets to find my phone but I had left it at home! "Shit!" I yelled as I double checked. Everyone was Yelling and trying to find there loved ones, "Usnavi!?! Nina!?! Carla!?! Daniela!?!" I yelled, then I felt a hand on my arm. "Y/N I gotcha" I turned to see Vanessa. "Vanessa! gracias!" I yelled as she pulled me into a hug. She knew I couldn't stand blackouts. She was my roommate for crying out loud she kinda had to know this stuff. "Wait where's Usnavi?!?" I yelled, "I don't know, did you try texting him?" She asked. "I don't have his number! Besides I left my phone at home" I said worryingly. "Right let's get you out of the building first" she said as we walked towards the crowd of people. "Somebody better open these goddamn doors!" Someone yelled. "I can't find Usnavi!" I yelled in a panicked voice. We got outside, "go find him! I'll try and get the others" she smiled as she ran into the crowd again. Then I heard a bang, I looked up to see the fireworks! Then I looked down an ally to see Usnavi walking away.

Usnavi POV:

I was trying to find Y/N so I thought I'd go somewhere less crowded when I heard her voice. "Usnavi!" She yelled I turned and smiled. "Y/N" then she slapped me! "That was for leaving me!" She yelled "what?" "Usnavi I was freaking out in there if it wasn't for Vanessa then I would have had a proper panic attack!" She yelled, "in my defence you didn't mention that and I was trying to find you!" I said as I held her arms. "Why would I be in an alleyway?" I asked, "It was the quickest route to the kindergarten and because it's less crowded" I said to her. She looked away and I noticed a tear was rolling down her cheek. "Woah what's wrong?" I asked her as I wiped it off. "I was terrified in there" she said in a shaky voice. I pulled her into a hug. "Also I pretty much ruined your date with Vanessa" I said. "actually she just didn't dance with me tonight" I smiled. "Come on. I'll walk you back to my house" he smiled as I took his hand and we began walking towards his house.

Y/ N POV:
We arrived at his house and made sure Abuela was alright. She said she was fine, then a group of people walked in. "We all began playing games and having the best time! In fact I was certain that nothing could ruin it. A few minutes later Usnavi asked me to come with him to but Abuela to bed. We brought her into the bedroom and she smiled at us. "So are you two a thing yet?" She asked. We both again went red. "Well-" "only if she wants" I looked at him confused. "Y/N. I know we've only known eachother for a short amount of time but I really like you. I hope you feel the same?" He asked. I didn't say anything and tried processing. "Is that a n-" I cut him off by kissing him, he kissed back. When we pulled away I looked away and said "I've never been in a relationship before so this is new to me" he looked at me and brushed a strand of my (H/C) (H/L) Behind my ear. "Same here"

After we made sure Abuela was okay we walked back into the room. "What took you two so long?" Carla asked. I grabbed Usnavis hand. "No me Diega" Cuca, Daniela and Carla smiled. Vanessa was beaming and Benny and Nina looked so proud and happy. After a few minutes I stood up. "I'll see if Abuela wants anything" I smiled as I walked into her room. "Abuela" I whispered. Nothing... "Abuela?" Nothing. "Usnavi" I called. He came in "she's not waking up"she then shook her a bit. Nothing. He then checked her pulse. "DANIELA CALL 911!" He yelled. They looked over in confusion. "GUYS IT'S AN EMERGENCY PLEASE!" I Yelled as tears fell down our eyes. Daniela began to call 911 and everyone ran into see what was going on.

She didn't survive... She was already pronounced dead.

I walked into Usnavis front room. He had his head in his hands. "She was just here" he said In a shaky voice. I took in a deep breath and walked in singing:

I have him a kiss on the cheek and let him rest his head on my shoulder. Then Nina walked in. And soon her dad then Sonny. Then Usnavi stood up and opened the curtain to reveal the whole block outside paying respect. That was the day we had lost Abuela. The kindest soul we all knew and loved.
