Falling for all the wrong reasons.

Winning to losing again

As I came round the final turn I was met by the checkered flag. The McLaren team had climbed up the railing and was cheering as I came flying past them.

My arms immediately shot up. P3. P bloody 3.

"WOOOOOO OH MY FUXKING GOD" I said screaming to myself.

"LIV YOU DONE IT" ollies voice came through my radio.

i just kept my arms up and drove me cool down lap waving to everyone I saw.

As I came into the pit lane everyone seemed to be crowded around our garage. Lando probably got p1. Shock.

I got out the car and was met by Ollie throwing his arms around me. I hugged him back and the whole world stopped. My heart was racing and I couldn't think of anything else other than Ollie's embrace, other than last night.

The memories came back every now and then but I pushed them back just wanting to focus on the race but now it was over that was all I could think about.

Ollie looked down at me and our eyes met. His blue eyes pierced into mine. The way he smiled made my heart ache. I never thought of Ollie like that but maybe now?. I did?

My thoughts were cut short when Zak came and pushed Ollie out the way to hug me himself.

"Bloody hell liv what a race" he practically shouted. I just smiled and hugged him back. We broke apart and I got a glimpse of lando.

He had a smile on his face as the team lifted him and and threw him in the air. He looked so. Happy. Nothing like he is when I see him. Nothing like he was this morning. And nothing like yesterday when he came out of Zak's office.

Our eyes met and he just smiled at me, to which I returned.

"Liv podium" Leo's voice came from somewhere in the distance. I saw landos expression change from happy to shock.

"A girl" his words echoed in my head. Bloodied showed you.

I followed the crowed over to the podium and made my way up the stairs.

"I must say, we'll done" I heard a voice behind me say. I turned around and saw lando smiling looking a head of us.

"Thanks" and my eyes followed his. He was looking at the massive orange crowed of people wearing McLaren merch head to toe. It brought a smile to my face. The fact hundreds and thousands of them came to my watch me and lando was amazing.

"Your 3rd place Olivia Gallo" when they said that the crowed erupted. I entered and Ollie and Leo came into view. They were jumping up and down screaming there heads off. The sight made me laugh. I loved these two with all my heart.

"And your 2nd place max verstappen" even more cheers were heard but they were only waiting for one.

"And your first place for today. The man himself..... LANDO NORRIS" he came out waving to all the fans. Everyone was kissing there's heads in the crowed and it was fantastic. The fact they all came to support him was so heartwarming.

As we were handed the trophy's we lifted them up one by one. Every cheer becoming loader then the last. Next the Champaign

Lando done his signature throwing it down then spray while me and max moved out trophy's well out the way. Don't want another one of them. Trust me I know his history.

5 minutes later we were stood there soaked to the core laughing our asses off.

Lando put a hand in font front of me to shack. I took it but instead he brought it too his lips and kissed it. My heart stopped. Lando Norris a romantic?

Liv snap out of it you say Sara Reynolds coming out of him room last night. We all walked off the podium and made our way back to our garages.

I knew lando was following me but I just ignored it. I walked into my private room but as soon as I closed the door there was a nock.

I opened it to find lando looking at me with sad eyes.

"Can I come in" he said I moved a side giving him some space. "Liv I need some help" he said his expression not changed but I couldn't tell why.

"With what exactly"

"Zak's up my ass about my "bad publicity" and I some how need to change that so I spoke to max about it and he said if I dated someone that would give then enough drama to clear my past and-."

"You want me to be your "fake girlfriend" I said crossing my arms and looking at him dead in the eye.

"Yeah kind of" he said looking at the floor. "I already spoke to Leo about it and he agreed with me. It would add good publicity to you as well so it's really a win win on both ends" he said trying to lighten the mood.

"What about Sara" I said still looking at him.

"Sara was a one night stand. Also we don't have to stop seeing people we just do it in private" he said now looking at me.

"I'll speak to Leo about it" I said opening the door again.  He instantly got up hint and got up.

"Thank you" he said before leaving.

This boy was nothing but a annoying since I got here. The way he said "a girl" was nothing but arrogance. The way he ignored me after I wished him well done. The way he rolled his eyes at me and left after seeing me crying on the bed this morning. Seriously, if I was too date him. I would make this as hard for him as possible.
