Last night I remember feeling her body against my arms but I woke up to nothing

After last night I expected Olivia to stay the night but I guess not.

I grabbed my phone and saw 10 missed calls from Zak.

Sh!t, I had a meeting about 10 minutes ago.

I got up and got dressed a quickly as I could but I saw something on the floor.

Some red laced underwear?

I'm guessing it was Olivia's but I continued getting ready.

I came out of my room and saw max looking at me from the kitchen.

"What?" I said walking over to the door.

"Nothing..." he said trailing off. "Saw Olivia this morning"

"So?" I said shrugging. I knew I was in a rust but there was something about his tone that made it suspicious.

"Oh sorry...I meant I saw Olivia come out of your room this morning" he said with a smirk on his face.

"I'll speak about it later" I said pulling open the door and leaving before he could say any more.

I walked into the meeting and saw a lot of business men sitting there already. I said my hellos and introduced myself.

I knew I was a little late but not enough for a punished.

Zak gave me a half hearted smile. I know deep down he hates my guts for being late but he was thankful I actually showed up. Of course lando wasn't here yet due to me leaving him early this morning.

The thoughts of last night came flooding back.

The thought of his hands on my body.

The thoughts of his lips on my neck.

But of course the thought of us not being able to actually be an items.

I know it's not really in the team policy but I couldn't help but feel guilty.

I couldn't let him come between me and my career, not after everything Iv gave away to be here.

I was brought back to my thoughts when I heard the door opened.

I looked up and my eyes met his.

Our eyes pierced into each others.

Everything else seemed to block out. I only had my eyes focused on his.

Suddenly I broke away and went back into my thoughts.

"Can't happen Liv" I repeated to myself, but it just seemed to go out one ear and come out the other.

Lando say opposite me with a smirk on his face.

I just rolled my eyes.

"CANT HAPPEN" I thought to myself again. I couldn't think straight.

It was like secondary school girl code.

It seemed as if he was the best friends ex or something.

You know you couldn't have him but couldn't help but like him.

"Thought liv?" Zak said bringing me back to reality.

"Sorry could you repeat that?" I said with a smile.

Zak repeated the question which seemed to be something about upgrades to the car.

"I think it's great, with updates to the back wing we should be able to go faster on the straights and we shouldn't stand a higher chance on either overtaking or maybe even defending" I said with confidence but I truly had no idea what I was talking about. I didn't even listen to what he was saying.

I heard lando scoff and I gave him a death glare and he immediately shut up.

"CANT HAPPEN" I repeated one last time before we all got up to leave. I knew lando was following behind me so I needed to find away around him.

I walked into the garage and was immediately met by Leo.

"Oh my god liv" he said running up to me and throwing  his arms around me and I returned the gesture.

"Leo I need to speak to you" I said breaking away and looking up at him.

"Alright" as he said that I started walking away and into his office with him following.

We entered and sat down opposite each over.

"Leo I know I can't race for a few more months but I feel fine"

"Just because you feel fine doesn't mean anything" Leo said giving me a death glare.

My wrist and leg felt fine, and with the right support I'm sure I'll be alright.

"Liv your not racing"

"Leo with the right support I should be alright" I said pleading, by the look in his eyes it was as if he was about to give in but that soon left.

"Liv you can't" he said looking at me with pity. "I can speak to your nurse to get you checked, maybe you can race sooner than expected but that doesn't mean anytime soon" and with that I got up and stormed out. Right into a chest.

"Sh!t sorry" I said looking up only to see lando.

"He grabbed my hand and pulled me into his privet drivers room.

He closed the door and smiled while leaning against it.

"Well.."

"What?" I said looking at his. He just smiled.

"Why'd you leave this morning"

"Well one of us needed to be on time" I said with a smirk.

"Did you forget anything?" He said looking at me. A playful smile on his lips. I just shrugged.

"Well it's not every day I find a pair of laced underwear on your floor" he said smiling.

My checks went red with embarrassment. I tried to hide it but I was unsuccessful.

"Your checks match them perfectly" he said laughing and I swatted his shoulder. I got up to leave.

"Think of it as a present Norris" I said before opening the door and leaving.
