Falling for all the wrong reasons.

Sorry?

I woke up the next day with the biggest embarrassment ever. I guess yesterday my head was all over the place but I didn't really how stupid I was.

I mean, showing Sara she pissed me off just showed her she succeeded to push my buttons.

I walked down stairs and heard max and lando talking about something but as soon as I walked in the kitchen they stopped.

"You...ok?" I said before grabbing a cup from the
Cupboard. They didn't answer and just continued to look at me blankly. "Ok then" I said and rolled my eyes.

"Liv what happened in Melbourne?"

"Excuse me?" I said now looking at the two.

Lando had his head down and max seemed to be looking at me with hesitation. I don't know if he meant to say it or not.

"What happened when you went to Melbourne?"

As he said that I remembered the conversation from yesterday.

"I told you" I said now looking down at the floor. "I was drunk"

"And like I told you. Drunk words are sober thoughts"

"Lando what happened" I said now looking at him. "You was alright with me at the airport and suddenly you seem to be bloody against me"

As I said that he went silent. He and I both knew it was true and I wanted to know exactly why. Before I could say more he walked out and went into his room before shutting the door behind him.

"The fuxks his problem" I said grinning to myself.

"Liv, he was ignoring you because he didn't know what to do" max started and I was confused already. "When you sent him them text who do you think he told first"
I went silent. "Me. And what the fuxk do you think he felt out it"

"Your staring to sound like the head teacher when I done something wrong"

"He was confused liv. He only had Olivia come here because he thought if he went out with her she would get his mind of you"

"That's not my problem" I said and scoffed.

"it is and your going to bloody solve it, your team mates, is you both don't grow up it'll have an impact on your results"

I don't know why max was all of a sudden acting like an adult but I must admit it brought some source of sense into me. I get where he was coming from.

"Fine if it helps I'll talk to him"I said before walking off. If I was going to talk to him it would be quick.

Before I even got to his door I could hear his music playing. I mean by the sounds of it it was shut up and drive which had me laughing before I even knocked on his door.

When I did how ever he didn't answer.I knocked again, if he didn't answer this time I would just walk away. Suddenly he opened the door and I came face to face with and expressionless Lando Norris.

He had some source of hurt behind his eyes but it was as if he was reluctant to show it.

"You ok?" I said smiling at him.

"Mhm" he hummed nodding his head.

"Lando can we talk" I said and his face still didn't change.

"About"

"Me, you, Sara. I don't know"

"Well if you don't know what are we meant to talk about."

"SHE WANTS TO TALK ABOUT THE TEXTS" max shouts from the kitchen making it obvious he can hear us. I laughed and so did Lando which caught me by surprise.

"Fine" he said before walking away from the door. I followed him into his room and sat next to him on the bed.

"Listen" I said but Lando cut me off.

"Luv I'm sorry" he said putting his head in his hands. "I don't know what happened but when I got them texts I didn't know what to do so I just called Sara. I felt if I was away with her it would get my mind off you and well..."

"You didn't know I was coming Monaco did you"

"No not really, max never told me" he said laughing trying to lighten the middle a little but failed to do so.

After that we just sat there in silence. No one dared to say a word. I could see his lips move as if he was going to say something  but didn't.

"I'm sorry" he said."I really am"

"It's fine honestly" I said now looking up at him. I know it wasn't from his point of view but we only had a week to make things right and I wasn't willing to sacrifice my race for a petty argument.

"It's not" he said and tilted his head up facing mine."honestly liv I'm sorry" and with that u don't know why but he kissed me.

It all happened so quickly I didn't know how to respond. But one thing was for sure.

I kissed him back.
