Iris's pov'

"Hi Auntie Imana, how are you doing? Are you liking the party?" I ask her and she smiles brightly while nodding at me.

"Yes oh my god I am so happy for you my love, this is so incredible." Her eyes glass over and I pull her in for a hug, she's the sweetest.

We threw a small family gathering party to celebrate my and Soren's engagement and more people than I thought showed up,' I guess a 'small gathering' isn't so small after all but it's alright.
I am a little bit overwhelmed but I am trying to get used to it.

"You look so gorgeous," I compliment her, she is so young-looking and beautiful I just love it.
Her hair was long and black her eyes blue, her face clear and soft looking, the makeup looked smooth on her.
She dressed in a cocktail dress that complimented her body so well, I was jealous.

Soren's words appear in my head and I want to giggle.

I love him.

"It's all about you Iris. You look beautiful too, I am getting old there's no 'gorgeous' for me left." She shakes her head and I tilt mine to glare at her because she knows damn well she looks good as hell.

"Shut up." She laughs softly before looking up and making eye contact with- my father.
Oh hell, they're staring at each other, wow.
What? That's so cute.

Oh my god, they-...they like each other, no way.
I need to tell someone about this, I need to talk to my dad about this.

He's looking at her like that?

"Uh," I'm flabbergasted right now I can't even say anything.

"Iris, I know this isn't the right time because it's your day and you know you probably wouldn't want me and your da-" she starts and I sit down next to her, she stops talking when she sees my face of realization.
She knows I know.

"Are you joking, do you like my dad Imana?" I ask and she starts blushing and I'm even more confident then that she definitely has feelings for him.
And I love the sound of that, what the hell that's amazing.

"I wouldn't say it like that..." She sees the look on my face is dead serious so she decides to tell the truth and she can see the look of appreciation after she lets me know.
"I do have strong feelings for your father Iris, I hope it's not weird for you." I shake my head.

"No, oh my god no it's not weird at all, I'm...just I don't know what to say. This is great." I hold her hands and she smiles squeezing mine.

"Hello, ladies." My dad's voice comes from above and we both look up at the same time, Imana with a look I had on my face when I listened to Soren speak while he was locked and imagining him.
She was scared to tell him how she felt.
