"Where would we go?" "Anywhere, as long as you're with me"
Just one more day, Shohei would leave me and return to Japan in 3 weeks. It was not too long, but it felt like an eternity for me. We decided to spend a whole day together, doing what normal couples do. Go out, eat lunch at the park and have some hot chocolate afterwards.
Shohei couldn't contain his excitement as right when he woke up, he turned around to wake me up and almost shout to my ears "It's time to dateee!". Then we started to get ready.
But where should we go?
I asked Shohei, he smiled and replied, "We can go anywhere, as long as you're with me!"
"I wanna go to the Disneyland No problem, I'll be Eric, and you're my princess Arial!"
I wore a white mini dress with a big pink ribbon on top of my head. At first Shohei wore a plain black BOSS T-shirt with black jeans, but when he saw me in white, he changed his mind and put on a white shirt instead.
"I need to show them that we're a couple" he smiled silly. I laughed at him.
"You're a dinosaur, and I'm your little penguin" I teased him back.
"Don't you afraid of dinosaur?" He asked as he raised his hands, pretending to be a scary T-rex. I giggled and kissed his cheek. "No way," I answered, "How could I ever be afraid of a handsome T-rex like this"
He looked at me with a mischievous grin, "I love you, princess."I hugged him while I blushed. We drove to Disneyland.
We drove to Disneyland. While I was looking at all the attractions, Shohei held my hand. Our fingers were intertwined so I didn't even bother to look at anything else. I felt happy just being next to him.
When we arrived, the sun hung high in the sky, casting a warm, golden glow over the park. As we strolled through the enchanting world of Disneyland, Shohei's eyes sparkled with childlike wonder. He kept squeezing my hand and pointing everywhere, saying things like"this ride is so much fun! "Or:"look over there! The water slides are so cool! I tried to understand everything he said without letting another laugh. I didn't want to disturb him or make fun of him.I felt like this is what family feels like; the feeling of security when you feel safe with someone you trust.
Lunchtime approached, and we found a perfect spot at a park bench to enjoy our packed sandwiches and a view of Cinderella's Castle. Shohei's eyes softened as he gazed at me. "I like this scene alot"
I nodded, smiling at him. He took a bite from his sandwich, then continued with his sentence. "It reminds me of how you looked at me the first time I met you."
"Like how?" I asked curiously. His eyes gleamed with mischief once again.
"Gentle and caring, like a kitten with purest brown eyes" he grinned and poked my nose. This time I laughed because I couldn't help it. I remembered the time when I first met him, he was confused to read out loud IPA chart. I had to translate the chart and explain to him how it worked. He was so adorable, so naive. I loved that innocent side of Shohei.
