Finally Made It

Chapter 3

The two girls walked into a place of complete chaos. Students were trying to get schedules, find their dorm rooms, and some were just greeting old friends. Lily and Macey walked up to the admission counter. The counter along with the rest of the school were decorated with, Lily guessed, Ferona school colors. The school was colored orange and purple.

"May I help you ladies?" the girl asked. She had red hair and for some reason she seemed different.

"Yes we are looking for where to get our schedules and dorm room numbers," Macey replied. Lily was always impressed how confident Macey was.

"Okay what are your names? I'm Rachel Elizabeth Dare by the way. People call me RED." The girl continued.

"I'm Macey Burton. This is Lily Dalm," Macey told the girl.

"Okay, just give me two minutes," Rachel said. She walked away and returned a few minutes later with two envelopes. "Macey we have you in a private dorm, and Lily you will share a room with Skylar Fleet." She continued, "Absolutely no trading dorm rooms. We need to know where everyone is staying."

"Dang it," Macey said, "It would have been so much fun to room together."

"Let's look at our schedules and see if we have any classes together," Lily suggested.

They looked at their schedules and saw that they had Greek Mythology together. Other than that the schedules were completely different. Macey had bargain shopping for clothed and makeup, makeup application, and hair design. Lily had agriculture, bouquet arrangement, and pollination.

"Wow," Macey said," they did a great good matching our classes to our personalities."

"A really great job." Lily replied. How did they know she wanted to be a florist? How did they know Macey was so into fashion? Lily wondered. Just then Macey interrupted her train of thought.

"Let's go get settled in our dorms." Macey said.

"Yeah. Let's go." Lily mumbled, still in shock from her schedule.

The girls walked across the Farona campus to their dorms. The dorm buildings were strangely named. Each building was named after a couple Greek gods and goddess. Macey was in Aphrodite Hall. Lily was in Hermes Housing/Diameter Dorms. The girls said goodbye to each other and walked into their new dorms.

The hall of Hermes Housing/Diameter Dorms was orange the floor was carpeted with purple fabric. The walls were covered in posters for various clubs like archery and sword fighting. Lily walked down the long corridors until she came to room ten. She walked in ready to meet her new roommate.
