The trio of friend were having a great time at Farona. It was almost Christmas Break, and Lily and Macey couldn't wait to go home and see their families. It was lunch time and Lily, Macey and Albert had just left Greek Mythology. Their schedules changed so much it was ridiculous.

"So are you guys excited for Christmas," Macey asked Lily  and Albert.

"Of Course I am. I get to go see my dad. I've missed him so much." Lily said.

" I can't wait. My mom's cooking is so amazing. I've really missed her." Albert said.

" I can't believe that the year is already half way over. It seems like yesterday that we were walking in trying to find our doors." Macey pointed out.

" I know," Lily replied' " I guess time flies when you have a great group of friends."

" That was the cheesiest thing I have ever heard," Albert commented.

"Well if you don't like my cheesieness then you can leave," Lily told him with a smirk.

"I think I'll take you up on that and go to class." he said, " I'm going to take my tray and head to class."

"Have fun," Macey told him also beginning to smirk. " Are we still going to meat in the library later today?" she asked.

" I really need to pack. I haven't done a thing yet." Lily explained.

" Lil, I was done packing a week ago. We leave in two days. You know that right?" Albert told her with a bit of concern on his face.

" Yes Al I do know that," Lily told him, " I'm just really bad about procrastinating till the last minute." she mumbled.

" Well have fun packing, " Macey told her, " I've got to go to class."

"Let's go you guys." Albert said.

Later that day after class Lily was in her room packing. She looked around and wondered how her side of the dorm got so messy, she was never in there anyways. Lily pulled out a dufflebag out from the wardrobe, which had begin to give her clothes a dusty woodland smell to them. She pulled out a shirt that she hadn't worn all year. Actually Lily realized all of the clothes in the drawer where ones she never wore. As Lily was putting the top in her bag a letter fell out of it. It was in an envelope that had her name written in cursive on it. She stared at it till her attention was diverted by the opening of the door.

" Before you go can you clean your space. I don't want to spend my two weeks without you looking at what a slob you are. I already have to on a daily basis."

Of course it was Skylar.

" Yeah, I've been meaning to clean it up." Lily told her, trying not to get mad.

" Thanks. It will be a nice change in scenery." Skylar said with an attitude.

Lily finished packing her things except for her cosmetics which she would pack before she left, and started to clean her area up.

'How the heck does it get this messy, I'm never in here,' Lily thought to herself. By the time she got finished cleaning it was around 12:30. 'Thank Heavens it Friday," Lily thought to herself. She sat down to read the letter that she found earlier.

The envelope was still white as though it were brand new, which it could be for all Lily knew. She opened the envelope and pulled out the piece of paper and began to read,

" Lily,

If you are reading this then I have decided that you are old enough to know the truth of your mother. I always told you that she died after you were born. That isn't true. She was an amazing woman who loved us very much, the thing is she is immortal. Your mother is Demeter, the Greek goddess of the harvest. She had to leave right after you were born. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you this in person; I just don't know how. Lily, you are a demigod, half mortal and half god. I wish I had the courage to tell you in real life, but in the summer, however far away that may be, you will go to a summer camp, and will learn so much more than what I can explain in a letter. I love you. Dad "

Lily sat and stared at the letter. How does you take the new that half of the blood flowing through your veins are the blood of a goddess. Or the fact that the Greek gods and goddesses are real.

'What am I going to say to my dad when I get home. Am I just going to waltz in the door and say 'Guess what Dad, I found your letter.' she thought to herself.

Lily didn't know what to do. She decided to go on a walk to clear her head. She wandered around the school campus aimlessly. After about 20 minutes she ended up in front of the green houses. Of course she ended up here. This is where she felt most at home. She knew why now. The aroma of the sweet scented flowers filled Lily's senses, clearing her head. She decided that she would just ask her dad about it when she got home. She walked back to her dorm and went to sleep.
