chapter five

we pulled up to luke's house first. luke was already on his porch with his guitar.
"hey guys!" luke said as he got into the car.
"hey." i said and smiled.
"now off to get mr. clifford." calum said driving off to michael's house.

"yo clifford get in the car!" calum yelled out the window honking at the same time.
"get in loser. we're going to a gig." luke said when mikey got to the car.
"yass mean girl reference!" i said laughing.

when we arrived at the gig, there were a little group of girls with 5sos signs. wow! how cool is it to have people make posters for you?! i wish i could experience that.
"aww our fans are the best!" luke said waving to all the girls.
ashton was waiting at the front door when we got there.
"hey guys." he gave me a hug.
"hey ash." we all replied.
"you ready for the gig? we're gonna kill it!" calum said as he and the boys set there equipment up on stage.
"im gonna be right here cheering on you guys soooo loudly!" i laughed sitting in a chair in the front row.
they all laughed.

CALUM'S POV:
it feels so good to have kacie sitting in the front row supporting us. hopefully someday she'll be sitting front row at one our headline shows.
"hey everyone. you guys ready to rock?" luke said into the mic.
the crowd all screamed in response.
"our first song we're gonna play is called try hard. we hope you guys like it."

omg try hard is soo good! legit probably one of my new fave songs. when they finished playing the song i stood up and cheered. who cares if i'm embarrassing myself.
they boys all smiled and laughed at me. i couldn't ask for better friends. we haven't even been friends for a week yet they feel like brothers to me.

"we're gonna end off with one more song." everyone in the crowd said 'awe' after calum said this. "the song is called she looks so perfect and i wrote this song with my good friend kacie." he motioned towards me so i stood up and waved to the crowd. they all cheered. it made me feel good inside.

"oh my gosh you guys were amazing!" i said running up to them after the packed away their stuff into the cars.
"thanks kac! everyone loved your song." calum responded.
"you mean our song." i corrected him.
"without you it wouldn't have been thought of."
"well without you it wouldn't have been finished."
"stop flirting so we can go." michael said making both me and calum blush. calum glared at him too. i just rolled my eyes.

CALUM'S POV:
"stop flirting so we can go." michael said making both me and kacie blush. i glared at him too. kacie just rolled
her eyes. was she really flirting with me? i know i was flirting! eh she probably wasn't.

"shut up clifford. we're coming." calum called getting into the driver's seat while i climbed into the passenger seat. first we took michael home and then luke. obviously i was last since i lived right next to calum.

"goodnight kacie." calum said walking me up to my front door.
"goodnight calum." i hugged him.
"i'll text you tomorrow. kay?"
"okay." i smiled.
"how was it honey?" my mom said when i walked into the house.
"great! they're really talented."
"thats awesome."
"well i'll be up in my room."
"okay."
oh my gosh. calum looked so hot. was he really flirting with me? i guess i was flirting with him. he probably wasn't though.
i plopped down onto my bed.

i had been asleep for a few hours when i got the text from mikey.

kac, calum's missing.

what?!

he ran away for some reason. can i come over with the boys right now??

ya.

good. we're here right now. open your door.

omg! i'll be down right now.

okay.

i opened the door to see three worried boys standing there.
"hey guys. you can come in." i said letting them in. "i'll be right back. you guys can sit where you like."
i went upstairs and told my mom what happened. she said it was okay that i let the boys in, but she said to stay quiet because its 2AM.

"okay so what happened?" i said when i got back.
