now it's 5AM and i've been driving nonstop for the past two and a half hours. by three all the boys fell asleep. my eyelids kept dropping so i pulled over and shook ashton awake since i knew he would switch with me.
"ash," i whispered, "can you drive for a little? i'm about to fall asleep."
"of course kac." ashton said getting out from his seat in the back and walking over to the driver's seat.
"thanks." i said sitting in the back next to luke. since there were no pillows, i used luke as one. he's actually pretty comfy. i laughed to myself.
when i woke up again, luke had headphones in and michael was driving.
"morning sleeping beauty." ashton laughed as i sat up and rubbed my eyes.
"what time is it?" i yawned.
"9AM. we have about three more hours until we get there." ashton replied.
"can we go grab breakfast now that kacie's up?!" luke asked taking off his headphones.
"yeah! can we? i'm hungry." my stomach growled almost as if it was on command.
michael nodded and headed off the highway.
he parked in front of a McDonald's.
"ooh yay! i LOVE McDonald's!" i say getting out of the car. i ordered pancakes with hashbrowns and they were delicious.

we got back on the road to melbourne.
"how much longer?" i whined. my phone just died so now i have no entertainment.
"about two more hours."
"ugh that's so long! wake me when we get there." i said closing my eyes.
CALUM'S POV:
i sat under a tree and grabbed my phone. "are they ready for the next clue?" i thought out loud. i'll just another hour or so. should i even give them another clue?! i mean what's the point of going back. seeing kacie everyday for the past week made me realize that i love her a lot more than i thought i did. i won't be able to face her knowing that she probably loves someone else. i mean how long can a girl like her stay single. she's gorgeous! i wonder if she came with the boys. what if she wants to see me or is worried about me?! nah that's probably not true.

i woke up an hour later due to mikey taking a sharp turn making my head hit the window.
"we almost there?" i asked sitting up.
"yeah. we have about twenty minutes until we're in melbourne."
"i hope calum's okay. i'm really worried about him." i sighed.
"we are too." luke said squeezing my hand. i smiled up at him since you know he's like a tree.
"wait how are supposed to know where to go in melbourne?!"
"he probably has am obvious clue set up for us."
we passed a welcome to melbourne and michael said, "we're finally here guys. now can someone else drive?!"
"i'll drive since i'm the only one who hasn't driven yet." luke said getting out of the car once michael pulled over.
CALUM'S POV:
i'll text kacie to test if she's there or not. if she's there, then i want them to find me. if she's not, then i don't want to be found. i got out my phone and started typing.
now i know you're probably wondering where i am in melbourne. well that i can't tell you. what i will tell
you is that go to the heart of melbourne and you will see a billboard. trust me you'll know it when you see it. it will tell you what to do next. also do not respond to this text message or else i will move to a new location without leaving clues.

i pushed send and took a deep breath. i feel bad for doing this now, but what's done is done. and i might as well finish the plan since i started it. i don't even know why i did this in the first place. like this isn't even a good plan. its all because of dumb blake. he told me i'd never be with a girl like kacie and that i should go kill myself. when i get back home, i'm gonna go say something to him or maybe i'll just punch him in the face. punching sounds better.

"guys i just got a text from calum!" i said excitedly. i read the text to them.
"holy shit calum. why do you have to keep playing games?! just tell us where you are for goodness sake!" michael was annoyed.
"well off the the center of melbourne." luke said.
"i think that's where the city hall is." ashton responded.
"well we'll find out when we get there." luke chuckled.
