Chapter 12-G

After Jrue told me she was pregnant I didn't know what to say. I was nervous and scared at the same time because we aren't together and we only had sex once but the look on her face said the same exact thing. I held her until she fell asleep and begin to rub her stomach. I can't believe it. A little me inside of her. I'm not even gonna complain because I'm grateful for her being the mother of my seed.

I picked her up and took her upstairs laying her in her bed. I stripped out of my clothes because I know how she get about outside clothes on her bed and laid beside her so that she could cuddle into me. Brushing her hair with my fingers I smiled. I smiled because I'm really about to be someone's father. I smiled because I could tell she was scared and even though I was too she let me know off rip instead of hiding it or beating around the bush. I was gonna make sure she enjoyed being pregnant. I was gonna make sure she didn't stress about anything. I was gonna take care of her and our child. I finally drifted off to sleep.

I woke up not feeling Jrue in the bed. I heard the shower running so I decided to go downstairs to cut up some fruit for her to make sure she ate. We had a lot to talk about so I was gonna make sure she was comfortable. She came downstairs smiling and I assumed hungry. "I'm gonna run home real quick to get myself together and I'll be right back" I said after sliding her the fruit. I kissed the side of her forehead and walked out.

My mom is gonna be happy and wanna kill me all at once. I showered and did my morning routine before heading back over to Jrue's house. I knocked on the door hoping she was still in a cheerful mood. I really hate seeing people cry. She opened the door and stepped aside for me to come in.

"I have an appointment tomorrow" she said finally looking up at me. "Good just let me know what time and I'm there" I said. She still had a weird look on her face. "Look I have to go to work today but there's something I want to talk to you about. I'm not embarrassed by you or anything I just don't want drama so for my safety and yours and this baby can we just not let people know your my baby's father" she said.

I was taken aback because what are you saying. " why, I'm happy to become a dad, don't I get to brag about it?" I said not tryna argue. "Of course you can brag I just don't want my name brought up. Look I'm not tryna keep you a secret or be selfish but I want to stay drama free. I don't want Sheena at my neck or anyone for that matter. I don't wanna stress" she said.

I kind of understood where she was coming from. Sheena been on me since the breakup. Riding by my house, coming to the club, getting her cousins to call me private! Just aggravating. "Ok I got you" was all I said. " oh and I'm bringing you lunch but I promise nobody will know who I am" I said as I smiled and walked out the door. Let the games began.
