Chapter 20-Jrue

My eyes fluttered open and I could hear the birds chirping. Flashbacks of last night flashing through my head. I rolled over to an empty bed. Sighing I got up and swung my legs on the side of the bed. My thighs were sore and I knew I would be limping to the bathroom.

"Good morning" G said walking in smiling. I blushed. He went in the bathroom to turn on the shower. My body couldn't wait to feel that warm water. He helped me up and lead me to the shower. The way the water washed over me I could of stayed in the shower all day but I had to go to work. Getting out the shower, I brushed my teeth and got dressed.

G was already down stairs eating when I walked in. "You good" he asked as if he knew he just broke my back into 23 different places. "Yessss G" I answered in an aggravated tone. He knew good and well what he had did and I could assure you I understood exactly why Sheena was acting the way she was acting. This would definitely be hard to give up. "You hungry, I made pancakes" he said fixing me a plate. I nodded and began eating because I was not stopping for breakfast today. I was already tired and I just got out the bed.

I ate my food, gave G a kiss and left. I had planned on getting to work early and was not tryna be there all day. As I walked in my bar I could feel the tension in the air. These bitches real life acting like my man didn't just treat us all like a queen, though he treated me like a slut immediately after but I didn't mind one bit.

"Where you was at last night" Ari questioned me like she was the damn police. " girl you real life moving funny" Jade said as if ima let them gang up on me. I rolled my eyes and pretended I didn't hear them. I walked back to my office to began my work day. Meg had already put the order sheet on my desk and did inventory. The numbers looked good. I had to admit Meg and Kim made a great team and after awhile I won't have to come in at all.

There was a knock at my door and Kim peaked her head in " hey Kim wassup" I said hoping she wasn't quitting on me. "Your mom called for you right before you came, she said she tried your cell but it was off" Kim said. "Thanks Kim, I'll call her right back" I said.

My mom and I have a strange relationship. I love my mom with my whole heart but she only hits me up when it benefits her. I decided I would call her back later because I did not want to ruin me day.

I had been working so hard sending out emails, selling to other salons and doing online orders and had let time slip away. I was so tired and my eyes was beginning to closed. I was thinking about G all day and I hated that. The way he took care of my body last night, the way his body warmed mine, how he explored every part of my body... I was in a trance before my phone began to ring. "Hello" I said in an unsure tone. I didn't even look at the caller I.d. No one said anything. It was just breathing and it pissed me off so I hung up.

I got up and walked out my office to go home but not before telling Meg to call me so I can give her the tea. I could hear Ari telling Jade that her cousin kept pestering her about an appointment but she had no openings. Even though they were getting on my nerves, I was happy for my girls. They were booked and busy.
