Chapter 31 -Jrue

I was almost at the finish line for this pregnancy and I was beyond ready. I decided that coparenting was the best thing for me and Gionni right now. I love him don't get me wrong but everything happened so fast, we really didn't get a chance to think everything through. He was trying his best to make sure that the rest of these weeks was smooth as butter.

I had 4 weeks of pregnancy left and my baby shower was tomorrow. I was more ready to eat then anything because ain't nothing like some baby shower meatballs. Gionni had paid for everything. Even when I said I would help he refused. I knew Meg was gone hook it up no doubt because this was her, as she says "tete baby". All and all I was happy. Happy that me and G was getting along. Happy that my baby girl was almost here.

We spent today getting final touches done for my baby shower. My dress has finally come in and I felt like I was as big as a whale. My feet were swollen and my bladder would not let me be great.

"Be still hoe, if you wouldn't have been tryna be a hot girl, your big butt wouldn't be sitting here eating everything up" Meg said as she finished up my boxed braids. I laughed "my bad my bad , you know this lil girl tryna have her way already and these Braxton hicks are the worst" I said as discomfort took over my face. " she's gonna be well worth it in then end just wait" Meg said.

"Yo" G said as him and Markell came in my shop loud as hell might I add. He pecked my lips and I peeped the smirk Meg gave Markell. "Y'all stupid asses might as well get back together. We know y'all still be fuckin on the low" Markell said tryna be damn funny. "Nigga please mind you business" G said as he laughed that shit off. I rolled my eyes. I knew everybody wanted us back together, even his damn mama.

We all decided to order pizza and eat at my house. "Put on a scary movie" yell Meg. "Now you know Markell ass scary" G said while chuckling. "Fuck all y'all" Markell said while covering his face with a pillow. Everything got quiet and seconds later we all bust out laughing, well everyone except Markell. Everyone fell asleep and I could feel G pecking my face with his lips. "Come on mama you got a big day tomorrow , let me get you to bed" he said as he pulled me to my feet and held me from behind. He pulled off my clothes and laid me in the bed coming in behind me and giving me the skin to skin that I need. "I miss this" he said closing his eyes in the process. "I love you G" I said and fell fast asleep.

I woke up excited for the day. G had Cooked us breakfast and then the guys left. The baby shower was scheduled to start at 2 so Meg and I started to get dress. It would take us 30 minutes to get to the venue. Markell had called to say that they were already over there and that everything was set to start on time. I was surprise because me and Meg are usually on black people time. I grabbed my phone off the dresser and slid my feet in my sandals ready to go. Meg helped me in her car and we was ready to go.

We turned the radio up and sung every song that came on. Stopping at a red light she ask " why aren't you and G back together yet" I shrugged " I don't know I mean I love him but I just don't want to get hurt again."
The light turned green and as soon as Meg pulled off BAM! We was hit from the side. All I could remember was screaming Meg's name as we flipped over and over in the air. Lord please protect my daughter was the last thing I said before I blacked out.
