Chapter 26-Jrue

I fell into that nigga trap. Laughing at myself, I fixed my dressed before I made my way out my office. I knew I was gone be doing the walk of shame but I ain't care. I limped through the shop, all eyes on me and everybody smirking. "What, y'all looking at get back to work damn" I said limping toward the door so I can get in my car. I couldn't wait to get home so I could soak in the tub.

I was tired of playing these games with G. He think sex was gone get me to forget everything but he had another thing coming. He better be lucky this baby got my hormones raging and he smelled so damn good today. Well he smelled good every day.

I pulled in my driveway getting out my car and locking my doors. I could see G's moms car at his house and as petty as I wanted to be , I left it alone. I wasn't even gone give miss crooked wig the satisfaction of getting me hyped up today. I went inside to run some water in the tub. I stripped out my clothes and got in. All of todays worry instantly washed away. I could feel little butterflies in my stomach and I wondered if that was my baby moving. I couldn't wait to feel those strong kicks.

I have a feeling it was gonna be a girl because God was gonna humble G one way or another. Plus I felt like God was gonna give me someone to give unconditional love and break that generational curse. But whatever I was blessed with, I was gonna love unconditionally.

I got out the tub and put my pajamas on. That man had wore me out today. I hadn't seen my bestie all day so I called Meg to come by so that we can catch up.

Meg showed up an hour later with a box of pizza and wings. G was gonna be so mad but I don't care. My baby wants what it wants. " so how was you and Markells vacation" I asked knowing that Markell prolly didn't let my girl rest at all. " bitch... Markell had me in positions I didnt think my fat ass could fit in, I'll never have sex with another man again" she said while laughing. We caught up for awhile more before she had to leave. I had gotten sleepy and decided to turn in.

It was the day of my appointment and me and G decided to ride together. We had already told the doctor that we didn't want to know the gender because we were doing a gender reveal. We had given him Meg's email so that she could see and do a reveal. I was nervous but I was ready to see my baby.

I was now 18 weeks. This pregnancy was moving too slow for me but maybe I was just ready to see my baby. "Here's your little one "Dr. Butler said. "Great heart beat and growing right on schedule." " let me check and see what we're having.... Ahhhh there it is! Again congratulations mommy" Dr. Butler said and took the sonograms with her. I put my clothes on cheesing like I knew what it was but In reality I had no idea what I was looking at.

"You ready to go" G said and I nodded my head ready to leave. G started driving my to an unfamiliar neighborhood . "G please don't start this creepy shit ,where are we going" I asked. "You trust me right" he asked. " well most of the time" I said back really unsure of how much I trusted him. He nodded and chuckled. We pulled up to a beautiful townhouse.

We got out the car and walked inside. "Maaaa... where you at" "oh hell Nawl G take me the fuck home now" I interrupted him. He started laughing but I was dead ass. " hey son, hey Jrue" she said. "I brought you over here because my mom got something to say" G said.

"Jrue, I'm sorry about how I treated you on Thanksgiving. I'm just overprotective over my son. I was disrespectful and I wanna start over. When my grand baby gets here I don't wanna be left out and I know you'll protect your baby peace at all cost even if that means I cant see the baby so I'm sorry" she said in a genuine tone.

"I accept your apology" I said. G looked at me " ain't you gone apologize too" he asked. "No sir" I said calmly. He gave a light chuckle "I swear you wild man, Aite ma ima holla at you later, I love you" he said before we walked back out the door and got in the car.

I slept the entire ride home. G shook me awake as he led me into his house. " you staying with me tonight ok?" He said and I just nodded. I was too tired anyway. I stripped out my clothes and put on one of G's shirts before I said my prayers and went to sleep.
