Leah's POV

"Hey, after school. Do you want to call the idiots?" Summer says when we walk to her locker. She grabs a binder and a planner and puts her bag up, putting her phone in her pocket.

We start walking to my locker next, "Duh. I haven't seen the idiots in forever! Should we invite the others?"

"I don't know, maybe? Also, I've got to drop Elle off and then I can head to your house." She says while I grab my gym bag.

"You remember my grandma right? She definitely remembers you, the key is under the flower pot if you get there before me or her." I started walking away to the gym.

Once I get to gym, I start thinking of the past.

"Leah! C'mon! We're going to be late for science!" Crystal says, grabbing my wrist and pulling me to the classroom while the light flashes yellow for almost being tardy.

"Calm down Ice. We made it on time." I say as we sit down, which conveniently is when the bell goes off.

Crystal gets up and walks to another table, then another, and another. "Hiya Jaylee." I hear her say, sitting down on the table.

"You do know that is not a chair right?" Jaylee says, trying to scoot Crystal off the table.

The teacher walks in immediately and I notice that when the teacher turns her back on us, Crystal runs to the other side of the room to her seat next to me.

"Autumn, can I borrow your notes real quick?" Crystal asks me, "Yeah sure, Ice." I say moving my notebook to her.

She hugs me and whispers a thank you so she doesn't get in trouble with the teacher. The teacher hands Crystal an apple and a muffin and walks away when Crystal puts the apple in her mouth.

"Why does she always give you food?" I ask her, she tries talking with the apple still in her mouth but ends up coughing.

She takes the apple out of her mouth and says "She knows I don't eat breakfast at home because of swim practice."

I get out of my thoughts when I hear the words 'Dodge ball' come out of the gym teachers mouth.

I'm grateful when the bell rings, signaling the end of the day.

Summer's POV

The bell rings and I rush out so I can quickly drop Elle off at home and head to Leah's house, once I get my stuff from my locker I grab my phone.
