"I don't want you to get hurt because of me Dev" I look at him with apprehension.
"So you'll go with him ? You are my fiance kainaat and I'm not scared of a motherfucking mafia"
"Well you should be" I rush upstairs but he keeps following me .
I can't even face him anymore . What's he gonna think of me once he comes to know what I have done .
"You are not allowed to go with him anywhere and I repeat anywhere "
"Stop deciding for me . I am a freaking alive human being. I can think and talk for myself"
"But you are marrying me aren't you" he leans against the door of my room as I open my drawer.
"I am and you know it , dad wants me to marry you so I will" I take out some of my books that I need to take with me .
"But if he says no , you won't marry me right "
I stop and look at him in the eyes " I would have left you way before you cheated on me if it wasn't for my father"
That is true but I don't understand what is the difference between him and me anymore .
"I'm trying to be better kainaat , can't you see"

Ofcourse asshole , he's hundred thousand times better than any man out there but that cannot conceal the fact that he's a mafia Demon who kills people for money . He's depraved and monsterous . He's all I fear . He cannot be my future .
"No he is not but at least if I ever chose him , he wouldn't have cheated on me like a certain someone . At least he loves me and only me"
My chest fills with warmth when I say those words . Kavish Solanki , The kavish Solanki loves me ?
"It's a stupid obsession you are falling for kainaat . At least whatever I am , I'm on your face" he steps closer fetching his phone from the pocket of his jacket. " if he's that much of an honest and genuine person then ask him who she is"
His phone has a picture of Kavish with a pretty girl sitting next to him . She's obviously not Ishani or his mom and I don't know why but my heart literally shatters into pieces when I see it . They both smile like there will be no tommorow and it's not like the picture is very old or something. The girl looks way elder than me but she's beautiful and classy.
"Why should I ask him anything "
I hear a car stopping and through the window of my room, I see kavish and my dad .
"I'm going but think before you do anything. I'm not like him that I'll force you or anything" he steps forward to hug me but I stop him with my hand "no!"
He steps back seeming dejected and exits the room . I stroll down the stairs to find that kavish is in dad's office . When I step closer to the door, he's signing some papers and dad seems relieved. I hope kavish agreed to help my father.
When he comes out , he straight comes towards me and nods . I follow him out and sit inside the car . My mom dad wave their hands as kavish starts it .
My chest aches on the thought of that picture and I really wanna ask him .
"D-did you agree to help dad" I question and he silently nods as if something really serious is going on in his head.
"Umm--I ,can you pull up at a bookstore please " I question and he nods . What's with him now ? I should be the one mad .
Soon he Stops at the city bookstore and I step out while he silently follows me . God he's scaring me at this rate .
"Why are you so silent?"
He scratches his temple and utters " I did something recklessly although I'm not Archit but I did, now I don't know how to convince a girl"
"Ohh" I look for the book I want in the upper shelf "must be that girl" I mumble .
"Is she your age ? I mean she looks elder" I ask when I finally find the book . I don't even wanna look at his stupid face right now.
"No , she's my sister's age , okay maybe two Years elder than Ishi"
"Hmm " I place the book at the counter and he takes out his card "no need" I give her cash while he still is lost in his thoughts .
"What do you need to convince her about" I stroll out while he follows me "there's something I did that will really piss her off and I don't want her to cry "
His words feel like needles on my skin and I don't wanna talk about it anymore . When I get inside the car I'm super infuriated.
"You need anything else ? We're leaving the market" he asks before starting the car.
I don't know what gets inside me when I turn towards him and grumble "No , I don't want anything from you Mr. Solanki . You can ask her if she needs anything and secondly why are you asking questions about your girlfriend to me ? Just shut up okay . Drop me at the campus and talk shit about her to Zain and Archit . I don't simply care ."
He looks at me with raised brows and then smiles starting the car "are you my girlfriend now Miss Raisinghania?"
"W-what" I look at his face. He was talking about me ?
"I th-thought you were talking about her"
Shit !!!
"Who is her except you in my life?"
"Don't try to act smart in front of me . I know her, I've seen her " I fetch my phone and show him the picture dev sent but he shifts his gaze to the road ahead .
"Hmm" he mumbles.
"I knew right, I love you kainaat . All lies , freaking lies "I scream .
"Are you jealous" he asks without any change of expressions.
No I'm super jealous. Urghhh.
"I'm pissed that you lied "
"See you are already pissed"
I make a mental note to ask him about the convincing thing later .
I sit silently and after a while the car stops in front of a huge Mansion. Oh my god , he brought me home ?
The metallic doors open automatically as the car goes inside . Ishani talks a lot about home but untill now it was all my imagination .
There is a wide-wide spread garden that she said and a swing where she sits alone .
We get out of the car and the lady I saw at the hospital comes rushing with the tapping of her heels on the black shiny tiles. I've talked to her on phone when she calls ishani but seeing her this close makes me completely believe why ishani and Kavish are so cute .
"Kavish what a great surprise" she tries her best to reach his height and hug him.
I don't know about marriage but I really need a son . Okay I'm too young to be thinking that right now.
"Oh my god isn't she kainaat" she hugs me and I smile "I didn't know you both were close"
"We aren't close mom" he chuckles " she doesn't let me come close"
God is he---
"Ahem" she slaps a hand on his bicep as I avert my gaze to the ground .
"What seriously ? And -- hey" he rushes towards the front door when I see the same girl coming towards him .
