Dreams of a Luminous star (ongoing)

Chapter 6

Orion's POV

I stand in front of the mirror adjusting my training attire. Just then, the door of my room pushed open and in came Hades.

"You sent for me?"

"Yes. Suit up, you'll be joining me for training today"

"Huh? Why?"

"Well, seeing as you're next in line to soon be head trainer, I figured i'd give you a little head start."

He pondered for a moment before responding. "Hmmm, you're right. I'll go change."

We landed on the training grounds just as the trainees finish warming up. I look through the crowd to ensure two specific stars were in attendance. Sure enough, there they were at the back.

"Greetings. We'll continue with where we left off last session. Granted you manage to master this little technique, we'll move on to another a little more challenging." Everyone nodded and in approval.

I stepped back a bit and signaled to Hades to introduce himself.

"Greetings. I am Hades" he started. They all bowed in respected.

"I will be joining Orion in over seeing your training. Please do give it your all." With that he stepped back and everyone got into their respective positions taking their fighting stance.

I looked to the back of the crowd to see Adeline removing the sword I gave her from a case of sorts. She smiled a little, seemingly excited, before taking her stance. We began the training.

Everyone sat on the field out of breath from today's session.

"Ok that'll be all for today. Take rest tomorrow. We meet back here the day after to pick up where we left off"

"You did well. I hope to see some improvements in the near future" Hades added.

"You're dismissed" I said but added quickly.
"Except for you two" I pointed directly to Adeline and her friend.

"You two stay, the rest of you may go"

Some of the trainees snickered at what could possibly be the reason for being held back but the two both boldly approached nonetheless.

"Yes?" They both said in unison as they approached us.

I turned to her friend, "Your name?"

"Celeste" she said boldly.

"Hmmm, You both were recently in an altercation with an elderly star at the flame festival, correct?" I noticed Adeline's face instantly went pale whereas Celeste seemed completely unbothered.

"And what of it?" She asked. I raised an eyebrow at her in question. Hades was standing off to the side staring at her intently.

"The man which you spoke to so eloquently was the former head trainer. An important figure, just below the Elites."

Celeste was about to say something, seemingly insubordinate, before Adeline interrupted.
