2 weeks later, we got to really know Gladion more. He hides his true feelings by lashing out at others, or just being rebellious. But, in reality, he was a shy kid with a lot of ambition. After that sleep over, he became officially

The New Member of YesterYear

Serena's POV:

MARCH 21st, XERNEAS MIDDLE SCHOOL
8:15 A.M.

I had just arrived in the school, and the first people I find at the table are...Ash, Gary and Gladion.

"I didn't expect you guys to be here so early, especially you Ash." I stated, pushing up my glasses.

"Me and Gary couldn't sleep last night, and Gladion always comes to school early. Or at least, nowadays." Ash explained, rubbing his eyes.

"I just met up with them halfway here." Gladion yawned out, staring at me.

"We stayed up watching anime." Gary confessed, blinking slowly.

I gave a blank expression at their response, rubbing my temple. "You two are idiots, and you-" I pointed at Gladion, my eye twitching. "Come to class, before you get held back."

"I probably have to stay back, I've barely showed up." He confessed, staring at us.

"Well, hey, at least you'll be with us." Gary chuckled, tapping on him.

"Yeah, that's a plus." Ash mentioned, yawning.

"The bad outweighs the good, especially with how my Mom would react." Gladion muttered, causing me to raise my eyebrow.

Before I knew it, May walked in and saw us. "Hey you guys!" She giggled, waving at us.

"Morning May!" I waved, waiting for her to come towards us.

She walked up, and stared at the boys in front of her. "What's up with them?"

"Two of them decided to watch anime all night, and the other is just here early." I sighed, explaining to her the situation.

"You two need to sleep early." May stated bluntly, staring at Ash and Gary.

"They're not gonna listen to you guys, y'know." Gladion rubbed his eye, staring at them.

"Well, we know that but still, they're about to fall asleep in class and speaking of class, did any of you do your homework?" I asked, hoping they said yes.

"I did. And Gary copied off me." Ash raised his hands, pointing at Gary.

"I didn't do that shit." Gladion confessed, yawning.

"Gladion, do your homework. Ash and Gary, let me check yours ." I reached my hand out, glaring at the boy.

"For what?" Ash raised his eyebrow, staring at me.

"So I can make sure you didn't get anything wrong, dummy." I crossed my arms.

"Just give it to her dude." Gary tapped his shoulder, handing me his homework.
