Prologue: Before The Lives, We Lead Today

Calem's POV:

Before I can tell this story of two very specific individuals, I think it's best if I give a formal introduction to who I am and what I have to do with this story of complicated love.

My name is Calem, Calem Xavier, and the reason why I'm telling this story about not only the lives of two of my closest friends ever, but to tell the lives we all had before these events. Besides, with them on a week-long vacation with themselves, I figured I can tell the whole story of our bonds together to you two kids.

I find it funny, you're both the same age as us when we met your father for the first time. Simpler times back then, when we were still kids being reckless, energetic, and youthful. Before the maturing adolescence of high school,  before the tragic falling outs in college, and before the heartwarming reconnections of university. Before all that, we were just reckless and youthful kids.

Sometimes I do wonder, what would've happened if we didn't meet him. How different would things be? Would we still be the same people we are now? or, would we be completely different people? How close would we be if he didn't come into our lives when we, unknowingly, needed it and what would he be like if we weren't there for him when he, unknowingly, needed it?

So many "what ifs" that I can think of, and yet this is the path that destiny put on us. It's a beautiful path of love, trust, and loyalty. Even when we had all of our adversity, we always had our eyes on our plans, no matter how lost we felt. 

Alright, that's it for me, I've spoken for too long and wasted too much time. I think it's time I dedicate this time to telling you the story of not only our lives but the lives of you're mom and dad. My best friends for life, Ash Ketchum and Serena Yvonne.

This entire story starts in the middle of 7th Grade. This is the story of a Juvenile Youth.
