Serena's POV:

MARCH 7TH, YVONNE RESIDENCE
6:00 P.M.

I was in my room packing for this sleepover at Ash's house. It was me, Calem, Dawn, Misty, and that emo kid Ash told us about yesterday. I don't know that emo kid a whole lot. Other than that he's Lillie's brother.

"PJ's, toothbrush, hairbrush..." I mumbled, checking off the things in my bag as I nodded. "Oh! I forgot my charger!" I mumbled out, unplugging it and putting it in my bag.

I wrapped my bag around me and walked out of my room. I went downstairs and walked outside to see Dawn, Calem, and Misty waiting.

"Okay, so, I have everything ready! We should probably go to Ash's house already." I nodded, pushing my glasses up.

"Yeah, Gary and Gladion are already there. So, it's just us that need to get there." Misty stated, looking down at the ground.

"I'm surprised Ash managed to invite Gladion over. I mean, he's always being mean to other people. I don't know how he did it." Dawn shrugged, looking at Calem.

"Well, Ash might have his ways." He chirped, scratching the back of his head.

"Well, whatever they are, they sure are weird." Misty chimed, walking next to me.

"Well, whatever it is, I think it'd be a good idea to get to know Gladion at least." I suggested, clenching onto my bag.

"Yeah, that does sound like a good idea. Anyways, we should probably go there right now." Calem stated, staring at us.

We all began walking towards Ash house, which wasn't that far away, it was roughly around a 5 minute walk.

When we got there, Calem knocked on the door and Ash's mom opened the door.

"Ah, you guys must be Ash's friends! Please, please, come in!" She smiled, letting us in. "Nice to see you again, honey!" She nodded, looking at me.

"Nice to see you again too, Ms. Ketchum." I smiled, walking in.

"Oh you guys are here finally!" Gary shouted, glancing over us.

"Hey, what's up y'all!" Ash replied, waving as he did before he looked at the kid next to him. "Everyone, meet Gladion. Gladion meet everyone else!"

We gave our introductions to Gladion, who was surprisingly very shy, compared to what we've come to known in school.

"There, you guys know each other. Well, you guys know each other now." Ash chuckled out, before we heard his little sister scream.

"Mommy! Is Auntie DD coming?!" Leaf screamed out, running to where she as at.

"Yeah, she'll be coming over today. And, I let her know that Ash's friends came today." She winked at the girl, causing Ash to start sweating.
