After lying in Iris' bed for a while, we took a shower together in her bathroom. We took it in turns to carefully wash each other's bodies and hair.

Feeling her hands run through my hair as she washed it was a strange feeling. It brought me more comfort than I'd ever allowed myself to get close to feeling, never having someone be so careful with me, so delicate.

When we were done, I wrapped a towel around myself and went to leave for my room.

"Do you have to go?" a quiet voice asked from behind me.

"Do you want me to?" I was unsure if she would even want to share a bed with me, that was why I'd arranged separate rooms.

"No, not at all. I want you in here with me."

"Then how could I say no?" I smiled, turning back to the door.

"Where are you going?" she whined, walking up behind me and clinging onto me from behind, us both still wrapped in our towels.

"My bags are in my room, I need clothes." I giggled.

"Get them tomorrow. And who says we need clothes?" she smirked, turning me around and dropping her towel to the floor.

"Fair point." I breathed, dropping my towel too and pulling her into my arms. She was taller than me, so my head rested perfectly on her shoulder when we hugged. I loved it.

She climbed into bed, scooting over so that I could get in too.

As soon as I lay down, she pulled me into her arms, interlocking her legs with mine and resting her head softly on top of mine.

"Sweet dreams Darling." she hummed, placing a small kiss on the top of my head.

"Goodnight Sweetheart." I whispered back, kissing the skin on her chest that was right in front of me.

The next morning, I awoke to the soft breathing of Iris. Over the course of the night, I'd managed to completely bury my face in her chest, and she was right, extreme comfort, way better than an actual pillow.

I placed a small kiss on the skin on her chest, softly so as not to wake her, knowing how tired she had been.

I always needed fresh air in the morning, and now that we were in the fresh, Italian air, I was looking forward to it even more.

Carefully, I slipped out of Iris' arms, smiling as she pouted in her sleep, subconsciously tugging the blankets into her to fill the void I'd created.

I went to my room where my bags were and pulled on a hoodie and some shorts. I was a little chilly without Iris keeping me warm.

The seller of the house, no, our house, had left us a few gifts in a hamper. Since we'd got a little, distracted, last night, I decided to go check it out now.

I sighed happily when I found coffee in there, definitely looking forward to having my fresh air and coffee time.

When I wasn't working, this was my favourite way to spend my mornings, allowing my mind to calm down whenever I had nightmares, and giving me some form of 'quiet time' that I loved.

As I waited for my coffee pot to be ready, I looked through the rest of the hamper. There were a couple of different packs of cookies, and some other little snacks, but we'd definitely need to go buy some groceries.

Once my coffee was done, I poured myself a cup, placing the rest on the side in hopes it'd stay warm for when Iris awoke. I made my way out, into the garden, sitting at the table and watching all the beautiful nature around me.
