" Are you sure you don't want anything, I am placing the order right now....and I am not going to share any of my food with you " Drew warned.

"Yeah, you can stuff yourself with the food, I am not going to eat anything because I am going on a date..." I announced asking Jeremy to get everything scheduled for tomorrow's meeting.

"Still texting Jeremy?" Lexi asked passing me a cup of hot chocolate.

"Yes once the shift is done, it's so hard to get a hold of him It's like he's... Superman or something " I said annoyedly sighing.

"I think he's on a date stop annoying the poor guy," Damon said sipping out coffee with a mischievous smirk.

" how do you know he's gone on a date ?" I questioned.

" Because I set him up with a nurse," he said winking.

" just so you know, he's been in a relationship for the past year and his girlfriend is really possessive...." I said with a fake smile.

" what ?" he said sitting up straight almost spilling his coffee, shock evident on his face.

" Yeah, and she doesn't get mad at him but the ones he was involved in or set him up and just for safety she's a master at jujutsu," I said now taking a sip of my hot chocolate with the same mischievous smirk he was adorning a while ago.

" you are so going to die " Lexi said chuckling.

" Rest in piece my friend," Drew said chuckling, Damon looked completely horrified.

"So where are you going for a date? " Crystal questioned changing the topic so Damon won't go all panic mode.

I placed my phone down excitedly "Hmm so first I booked this restaurant with a private garden just for us..."

"Oh. " Crystal said teasingly.

"And then I plan to take him to the ice cream parlor downtown..." I said looking around excitedly to see their reactions.

"At least someone married the right sibling," Lexi said in an undertone giving Drew the side eye.

"Ohh come on at least your husband didn't cancel on you consecutively for three days," he said smirking victoriously.

"He was just busy you dumb bitch "I yelled irritated.

"No, he wasn't he just didn't want to go out with someone so ugly " he replied, I lifted the mug ready to throw it at him.

Lexi rushed to my side holding my hand and taking the mug out of it.

" Can you stop being mean the dress looks pretty on her...I bought it for her for her birthday " Crystal reminded.

"Thank you again," I said rolling my eyes.

" Why don't you buy something like this for me ?" Lexi questioned Crystal.

" Guys !" I yelled showing them my ringing phone with Duncan's caller ID.

" Gosh she looks so pretty," Lexi said with a smile.

"You better wear a jacket, or I am not letting you go," Drew said in a stern tone.

I immediately picked it up, "Do you want me to come out ?" I said with enthusiasm setting my navy blue knee-length body con velvet dress, and settled my center parted-wavy hair.

" Baby girl," he said in a quiet tone, my face immediately dropped knowing what was to come next.

"You busy again ?" I questioned, closing my eyes and taking a deep breath trying to not show him that I was hurt.
