Duncan's POV
I walked into the dim-lit basement, my men bowing down as I walked through the broad path leading to the place where one of our hostages was held.
" Boss " Derek greeted handing me a pair of black gloves. The ones I made sure to use after she fell in love with me I did not want to touch her with the same hands I did the dirty work.
" Did he say something ?" I questioned looking at the blindfolded man lumped up in the corner.
" Nothing at all he's a stubborn bastard," he spat out.
"Get me a bucket of diluted rock salt water and Mathew " I informed.
Derek nodded his head ordering one of my men to do so.
Derek walked ahead of me dragging the man by the chain around his collar "Stop it, where are you taking me you inhumane bastard " the man cried out loud, grabbing onto Derek's arm with his chained hands. My men had done a good job he was beaten to a pulp blood oozing out of every part of his body. Derek pushed him on the floor close to my feet.
" open his chains " I ordered as I watched him hiss in pain, as Derek pulled his chain.
"Boss also, he says he knows the man in black" Derek whispered opening his chains, "let's say hello to a friend then," I said smirking and pulling off the blindfold.
He looked at me spitting out blood viciously "You bastard let go of me.... I am in the police they must be looking for me by now" he yelled pushing his hair that was falling over his face back.
" let me go I'll give you all the money you need, just let me go," he said slowly looking around trying to get on his feet, Derek and my other men took a step forward but I signaled them to stop. I stood watching him fiddle and trying hard to get on his feet the deep cuts and bruises not helping at all. It's always fun to hunt your prey when it has no clue.
" answer something you bastard don't you speak, are you dumb " he mocked me, laughing pitifully. I just watched him letting him build up all his confidence thinking he could escape.
" Boss," my men said holding a bucket of salt water and a baseball bat my favorite weapons. "Rub it all over his wounds " I ordered, he moved forward along with another man who held him in place, while this one rubbed the salt water all over his body.
He yelled in pain crying out loudly, the pain and agony evident on his face I smirked looking at the whimpering man signaling my men to move I pushed him to the wall with force hearing a couple of bones cracking and he groaned in pain, I bawled my fist punching him square in the jaw multiple times " boss " Mathew called entering I held him by the hair" I need you to send me a mail and I want a reply before I finish my job here and you know it won't take much time " I said with a sly smirk, the limp man looked at me with horror-filled eyes.
" Boss the police are looking for him " Derek informed. I immediately took a couple of steps back "That's right you bastard...you be sacred I am in the police " he said spitting out blood.
I held the bat that I had placed on the floor "It's been a long let us send a present " I said swinging the bat at his knees making sure he would be unable to stand"Ahhh!" he yelled out in agony falling on the cold hard floor. " you bastard you have to pay a huge price if you don't let me go now, people like you only fear one man, the man of few words, the man who saves us from our pain....the man in black, I know him he ll be looking for me " he said in a feeble voice crying.
" what if you offended the man in black himself?"Derek questioned finding humor in his plight.
The man looked at me with a horrified expression, " I am the Man in black " I said with a smirk " Hello friend " I added, Tears started falling out from his face he knew there was no escape.
