toad tax: the lost chapter

Alright, let's get this done with. I was made aware that I should also put this here for all those people who don't follow me and didn't see the little announcement. 

I know it's been a minute, but I wanted it to be understood that I will no longer be continuing this book. mainly cause I'm just flat too old to be continuing, it was fineish when I was 14, and Anne and the girls were just one year younger, but now it's just kinda weird feeling. 

Under this is the last chapter I wrote when I was still working on this book. At the end, I'll be pointing you towards my other project I've been working on with a friend of mine. It's similar, and the reader in that book will be similar to this one, with just a different world. With that said and done, enjoy the lost chapter.

Before anyone says anything I skipped lily pad Thai ep because well there wasn't much to put in there. And I'm really excited for this. Anyway I hope y'all enjoy this ep. (also you look like the pic up top)

We see the planter family in the center of town riding on Bessie.

hop pop: " oh look the pill bugs are on sale."

Anne: " oh that reminds me. I got to get some more of that beetle jerky I like... I can't believe I said that."

y/n: " oh, I need to grab some snacks from Maddie and Felicia."

sprig: " oh is that why you are in your maid outfit and have that mini backpack?"

Anne looks over and takes another look at the boy in his maid outfit with the little collar and that backpack on his back.

Anne: *light blush* " and collar?"

y/n: " yep people give me snacks for free when I wear this."

just as he says that someone randomly throws him a sandwich. the cat caught it of course and gave to Polly who then ate it all in one bite.

Polly: " I'm not complaining."

Anne: " nice to see everyone loves you so much."

y/n: " yeah I don't really know why they do but it's nice. anyway let's get going."

hop pop: " alright kiddos, we'll meet you outside.

Anne and y/n head to the shops but instead of following Anne, y/n heads to a dark corner of the shop.

y/n: " Maddie and Felicia? you guys here?"

suddenly y/n gets grabbed and picked up by some people in the shadows.

y/n: " uh hello there. who are you?"

the shadowy figure gets closer revealing that both Maddie and Ivy grabbed the boy.

y/n: " oh hi Maddie. hi Ivy I'm guessing your mom sent you."

Ivy: " yep she said to give you some snacks and I can pet you after."

Maddie: " I got bread and a few gifts for you."

Maddie hands the boy a few kinds of bread and a bracelet with a cartoon style cat skull.

y/n: " what's the bracelet do?"

Maddie: " it'll help push the odds in your favor."

y/n: " thanks Maddie."

y/n puts it around his wrists and starts looking around for a cart.

Ivy: " don't worry I got you."

Ivy walks up with a cart full of snacks and a few types of tea.
