Chapter 8. (Unedited)

"Diii!!" 

Roohi turned to the voice and saw Piyush coming towards her. She kept her phone in her pocket and ran towards him. Nothing else in mind other than her brother. 

Piyush opened his arms and welcomed his sister. No matter how much they quarrel, how much they tease each other, how much annoying they both are for each other. They love both each other for than anything else. As they liked to be called, A pair of a lioness and a tiger. Both staying beside each other no matter in what situation. No one can come between them or break their trust into each other. 

They both took their time to hug each other. Although Piyush was the younger one, Roohi was shorter than him. As if he is her elder brother. Well sometime, he does become her elder brother and scold her for her carelessness. 

"Welcome back" Roohi exclaimed so much excited to spend time with him. Little did she kniw what the future has waiting for her. 

"I missed you so much Di" Piyush pouted which caused her to chuckle. 

"Ohh I missed you too my baby" Roohi took his cheeks in her palms and squeezed them. But it did annoyed the young boy. 

"I am not a baby" He sulked.

"Well I can understand the feeling when someone calls you baby when you are fully grown." Roohi sighed "But.."

"Our parents don't know about it" They both said at a same time and laughed. Its been days she laughed heartedly. All thanks to her brother. She is feeling well now. 

"Di let's go home and then talk about the matter for which i came here" Piyush suddenly become serious which also made Roohi lose her smile.

She then remembered what happened few minutes ago. Although the airport was busy and noisy but they both felt dangerous silence. 

'Who is the person my brother is talking about!? Is he Avinaash or that unknown person!?' Roohi thought

"You didn't tell mumma papa, right!?" Roohi asked him hurriedly.

"Nope, I don't want to stress them out. We will only tell them when it will be out of our control" Piyush answered making Roohi let out a sigh in relief.   

"For the first time in your life till now, you did something right" Roohi teased him to cut the tension. "Well I do have to say my baby brother is all grown up now." She chuckled.

Piyush smiled at her attempt to lie that she is fine but he can clearly notice the her condition in her eyes. Distressed. Agitated. Scared. He held her shoulders and shook them a little bit to convince her that he is now with her. 

"Dii let's show him what we are raised as!?" Piyush asked. Roohi nodded, not able to form more words.

"Nowwwwww, let's goo!! I have missed my home very much, can't wait to go there" Piyush back in her golden retriever personality exclaimed causing Roohi to chuckle a bit.  

"Yeahh, come let me take your luggage" She tried to take it but Piyush didn't let her.

Roohi rolled her eyes and held his arm and started making their way to her car.

Stepping into their sweet home, Piyush sighed in contentment. Roohi went to kitchen to bring water for them. Piyush kept his luggage at side and plopped down o the sofa. He looked around and saw some arrangement different from the last time he was here which was almost 2 years back. 

"Seems like my sister is developing interest in Interior Designing" Piyush said when he saw Roohi coming out of the kitchen.

"Only because its our home" 

Piyush smiled and took the glass of water she offered. He took some sips and kept it on the table. "And What about the home you will married off to!? He wriggled his eyebrows playing with her. Roohi lightly slapped his arm and sat down.

"You are so desperate to send me off, Haa!?!?" Roohi raised her eyebrow and folded her arms in front. 

"Its not like that" Piyush laughed and side hugged her. As they were enjoying this small sweet moment, Roohi's mobile went off.

She took it out from her bag and took a glance at it.

"Hey that's the same number I got message from" Piyush suddenly whispered.

Roohi looked at him.

'I have to pick up the call to know who have messaged him. Avinaash or that Unknown person' Roohi thought

She was about to pick it up, when Piyush stops her.

"What are doing, Di!? Don't pick it up. We immediately have to inform to Police of this."

Roohi blinked her eyes as if reassuring him that whatever she is doing is right for now.

Roohi don't want to let him know about both of the crazy men. Only one. Who have already disturbed her brother.

She picks it up. Piyush gestures her to put it on speaker and does so.

"Hey love"

Roohi's eyes widened. It is the unknown one. She doesn't even know him.

"See, I don't who you are and why are you doing this!?" Roohi starts while calming herself. "Just leave me alone."

They heard a chuckle coming from other side.

"I told you, love. I am the one who loves you the most. And sorry I can't leave you"

Piyush eyes flamed with rage "You bloody bastard, just why can't you leave my Di alone!"

"Ohh i see, my dear brother-in-law already arrived. Welcome back!!"

Piyush yelled again "Just Shut up!! Listen you, my sister is no one's and without her will, you can't do anything"

"She is mine. And before you say something, I advise you to speak carefully. Don't forget they still are in Delhi and we don't want their dead body come back, do we!?"

Roohi's eyes widened and started hyperventilating. She shook her head to Piyush. Piyush calmed his anger and bit his lip not to say anything further.

"Well do you want a proof that what i can do!? I would like to give you one" The man chuckled.

Roohi was fast enough to deny it "Noo please don't do anything!"

The man cooed liking Roohi's vulnerable voice. "Ohh my love! I promise i won't touch your parents as long as you obey me. After all they are going to be my in-laws"

Roohi whispered "Please why are you doing this!?"

"Tick..tick...one parcel will be delivered to you in exactly 1 minute" The man spoke "Just check it and see what your soon to be husband can do. Bye bye love!!"

"No you----" The phone hang up cutting Roohi in middle.

Roohi was freeze. A message popped up.

Piyush also read it. They both glanced at each other.

*Ding dong*

Both of them looked at door. They don't want to know what is waiting for them behind that door.
