~Maddie's Pov~

"What the-?! What's going on?"

Cameron.

I instantly pulled away from the kiss (whether I wanted to or not) and stood awkwardly next to Hayes. I led my eyes to the ground.

"Oh-uh-this is not-"

"Hayes, don't worry about it. I DO want to know why you guys are standing in front of my house" Cam says.

I turned over to Hayes and gave him a look that said "I need you to leave."

Hayes nodded his head in agreement.

"Oh, uh, I'm just gonna catch up with you guys later" Hayes said slowly backing up.

Once I couldn't see him anymore, I turned back to Cam.

"Why did you keep this from me?"

I wanted to be straight forward. No more playing games.

Cameron furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"What I mean is that you haven't mentioned that you're, oh, I don't know, my FREAKING BROTHER."

Cameron's eyes got wide, and his face turned pale.

"Who told you?" he asked in a quite voice.

"My used-to-be-parents. I don't know what to call them."

"Well now you know" he says with a shy smile.

"That's all you have to say? 'Well now you know.' And you still haven't answered my question. Why didn't you tell me?"

I was starting to get frustrated now.

"My mom, well OUR mom, wanted me to keep it a secret. She wanted you to live a good life."

"Well I could've lived a perfectly fine life knowing this!"

I saw the knob of Cameron's house door turn. Out came a women with medium length brown hair in a ponytail. She was little bit taller than me, with big brown eyes.

"Cameron, why is there so much noi-"
she starts to say before she stops in her tracks.

The women was staring deeply into my eyes. I was doing the same.

"Maddie? Is that you?" The women says with tears filling in her eyes.

Before I could say anything, she embraced me in a hug. I didn't know how to respond, so I just left my arms hanging.

"You've grown so much since the last time I've seen you" she whispers.

She lets go of me, and takes a step back.

"I'm sorry. You probably don't recognize me. I'm Gina. Your mom."

My eyes started to feel heavy.
My vision went blurry and I faintly heard "Maddie? Mads, can you hear me? CALL 911 RIGHT NOW!"

Soon everything was pitch black.
