Forty-Two

Astrid slid across the ground, spinning up to one knee, and punching one guy in the dick, before upper cutting hard, sending him flying back to the ground, unconscious. Thor and Loki took theperimeter,  while her and Bruce were currently making their way through, and so far, she hadn't seen Dazzler or Eric.

'Its really hard to control the big guy, watching you fight. Can't tell if he wants to kill people or fuck you..'.. She laughed, hearing Bruce and turned to see him dodge a knife attack. He took hold of the man's arm, locking it behind the back and disarming, before using that knife to slice the man's throat.

'I'm so turned on right now..'.. She watched as he shoved the body to the ground and twirled the knife in his fingers, smirking at her.

'Let's get this over with then..'.. He tossed the knife to the floor, and walked over as she got to her feet. They had only made it 100 yards before the first attacker came at them... 'Can you still sense crystal?..'.. He fell into step with her, his eyes focused ahead of them.

'Yeah. Eric knows the extent of Wades abilities, and I'm concerned by how much blood I'm feeling. I swear if Wade dies, I'm going to lose it..'.. She gritted out, and then sent a blast of magic ahead of her.

Astrid needed to let loose, and her powers were screaming to be let out. She wouldn't, not yet, not until she found Eric.

'Wade won't die, he said he's not dying until he's seen us have sex, and possibly join in..'.. Bruce chuckled. He wasn't jealous of her friendship with Wade, however close and crude they were. He knew there was something the two shared, that he couldn't understand, but he did trust them both.

'If we survive this, he can watch..'... She grinned at him, tapping her ear... 'Wouldn't mind being spit roasted, I mean, I do have three holes. Pick one each and there's a spare..'

'Will you two stop! I feel like I'm going to hurl..'.. Tony's irritated voice rang out and the two high fived, knowing they got him.

'Don't be jealous Tony, like I said, I'd have a spare, if you want to use it..'.. She sniggered, and Bruce smirked at her, shaking his head.

'Don't ever come near me..'.. Tony retched, as they headed deeper into the steelworks.

'We have apprehended the female..'.. Thors voice came out in pants.

'You two ok?..'.. Bruce asked, as him and Astrid looked around.

'Loki fares worse than I, but he is alive..'.. Thor informs them... 'He has just taken her back to the compound, and returning. We will catch you up sister..'

'Don't take too long or you'll miss all the fun..'.. She tells him. Astrids hand shot out across Bruces' chest stopping him... 'Shit, I just had an idea..'.. She smirked across to Bruce... 'I'm the goddess of truth and nature, right?..'

He nodded to her, watching her intently. She took a few more steps forward, and knelt on the ground, putting her hands to the dirt. Bruce moved to the side, to see her face, and her eyes were closed, but a menacing smile on her lips. He knew not to disturb her.

He felt the ground tremor beneath his feet, the air getting thick. He had no idea as to what she was doing, but the dirt around her swirled.

Astrid kept pushing, she would most likely drain herself, but she'd still be able to fight. Why had she not thought of this before. She called out to the elements, air, fire, water, and earth. She summoned them to her, drawing on them and opened her eyes, watching as four elemental creatures formed in front of her.

Bruce was so damn proud of her, and thoroughly amazed. He didn't know she could do this. They were at least 7ft tall, and about as wide as hulk. The air was swirling around, a mix of grey and white clouds formed that creature.

Fire raged in different colours, red, orange, blue and green. He couldn't feel any heat from it, but as it moved its arms, the flames raged higher.

Water ran as though crystal clear, rocking from side to side, its footprints causing puddles to form.

Earth was a mix of everything from the ground, flowers sprouting where it looked like it had eyes. Vines wrapped around the arms, legs and head, making it look to be the most frightening of the four, though Bruce wasn't afraid, in fact he was mesmerised.

'You are incredible!..'.. He watched as she got to her feet, hands on hips and blowing him a kiss.

She turned to the creatures... 'Take out anyone who gets in your way. Find Wade..'.. She gestured to Air and Earth... 'You two take left, fire and water take right..'

Bruce was in awe as the four creatures did as she said, running heavily, in the directions she ordered them to go. His eyes strayed back to her, seeing her rub her forehead... 'Asti, you ok?..'.. He came to her side, his hand on her back.

'Yeah. Just using the mind reading, to track Eric, but he's wearing that damn helmet, blocking me out..'.. She sighed, just as Thor and Loki appeared next to them... 'Let's go gentlemen, I got an appointment..'

The four keep quiet as they continue on, and Astrid could feel when one of her elementals came in contact with someone. She still couldn't kill, but they could. She tensed, knowing they were getting closer.

The distant sound of a pained shout, drew her attention, and it took all her willpower, not to run off in that direction. Hiding behind a wall, she peeked around, seeing Eric up on a walkway, and his arm was out, making metal poles lift up, and impale Wade.

Anger coursed through her veins, and she rushed out, summoning her elementals. Ripping two of her plastic blades from her straps, she threw the in Eric's direction, just as she heard other metal creak around her.

Bruce turned to the other two... 'Get to Wade, get him out of here, now..'.. He then ran out, shifting so Hulk could take over, the big guy was better for this situation right now.

Loki sprinted after, but kept his distance from the big green giant, knowing he had a really bad temper. He slid across the ground, just as a large earthly giant crashed through the place, and another that looked like flames, threw fireballs at the man on the walkway.

'What in the helheim are they?..'.. He called out, as he got to Wades side, and Thor came to the other side.

'I do not know but they appear to be on our side..'.. Thor dropped his hammer, and took hold of one of the metal poles, trying to pull it out... 'It is not moving..'.. He gritted out, trying with all his strength.

Thor felt himself get tackled to the ground, just as a loud thud, verebarated all around, and then a crash... 'Get up!..'.. He heard Loki shout, and his armour get yanked, so he was on his feet.

Looking around, a large metal beam was impaled right where he had been standing, trying to pull the poles free.

He turned to see his sister, wings out and screaming in fury, as shw flew up, and dove for the man above, that he guessed was Eric... 'She will kill him..'

Hulk roared in anger, and jumped, gripping the walkway, and landing on it close by. Thor knew, from the coldness in the air, death was close by....
